And Pires didn't take 10 penalties a yaer like lampard and gerrard do a year. 3 years in a row of scorrig 14 goal in just the EPL says it all. Attributes wise he used both feet, he was faster taller more skillfull and had an equal eye for a killer through ball as gerrad and lampard.
