One of my favorite lessons you have taught, do yo have a fingering chart for these modified chop chords ? Seeing your fingering placement is a bit hard to see sometimes, thank you from SW WA.
That's amazing. I can't do a big chop because of a bent pinky. Do you have a chart with the two string chop chords? And how do you actually play them with your left and right hands to get the right sound?
It would be really beneficial if you simply slowed us the chord fingering, one finger at a time before each of the chord progressions. It is hard to see exactly where the fingers are on a small fingerboard of a mandolin. Love the approach but it could be made more simple.
These lessons are so darned good that they should have been on prescription. Best ones there are to be found. Thank you, Baron!
Finally, something to give me hope! My pinky has a bend that makes it about half a fret out, so full chop chords are nigh on impossible!
As always, Baron: incredibly clear and accessible. Glad I'm a subscriber - well worth it.
I do believe you did a two finger or two string chord lesson a while back, that was so helpful to me as is this. Man, the possibilities are endless!
This is really helpful! Thanks!

Thanks much. Chop chords have been troublesome as a newbie. Unrelated...what gauge strings do you recommend??
