Recently got back into FU to finally take care of those pesky fatalis that take way too many quests to unlock/kill solo and decided to check on the definitive FU channel here on youtube. I was like man I want to play Monster hunter (I have world ice borne) and then I was on RUclips to get some tunes going while I was gonna attempt to fight black diablos I see that the algorithm shows me content from the very first monster hunter title that got me into videogames in general, and now Im happy to see that someone does content from it, thank you, you are a great hunter

We have almost the same playstyle with hammers, it's nuts. I tend to build into tigrex X with sharpener jewels and protection but that's the only difference

Ok I despise khezu with a burning passion in this game but I may end up farming him so I can hear him scream in pain each time I swing that hammer Cuz that’s hilarious to me if screaming with each swing
I don't bring all of the things I could in general, such as traps, flash bombs, etc. It's to give room for people to bring those things if they want. If I make a guide that hinges on something that is a limited use, then in my opinion it's less helpful. I want to boil down the fights to their basic components and not make it any more complicated than it needs to be. And bringing Felynes, while I do recommend it, adds a ton of variance that, to me, is unacceptable for a guide series. If I bring a felyne and there comes a time where it takes aggro at just the right time, that's something that the viewer cannot count on, and so, I remove it from the equation. It's the same reason I'm not going to be using any talismans (except maybe just for decoration slots) in my P3rd series, I don't want to show something that the viewer might not be able to replicate.
@HeadHunter455 Ah I see. Makes sense. But yeah, I always bring one cause most of the time, felynes that I bring always take the aggro away from me. Which helps me as a gunner. But also leads to funny moments where I see my felyne stunning Lunastra and breaking Teostra's crown (thanks for those guides btw).

It's always awesome when your felyne gets a stagger or a part break, makes them feel like they're more than just another target >.< and they're definitely a big help with gunners, for sure. If you use the hammer, don't use the gold one, there's no flash bugs for that hammer.
