Holy crap! That's Chuck Norris? I saw this movie when I was a kid. Never noticed Chuck there in the small scene. And Chuck getting beat up by alcoholic Dean Martin. Priceless !

Bruce Lee was the fight choreographer and Karate instructor behind the scene. It was Bruce Lee who got Chuck Norris his role after fist of fury and Bob Wall the bad dude as O'hara also in fist of fury as the body guard harassing Dean Martin

The fight scenes were choreographed by Bruce Lee, and Norris was one of his friends and students.
He wasn’t his student. Chuck Norris learned martial arts and got his black belt while in the military. They trained together and taught each other different things.

Great scene, but man… You couldn't have let that scene run 20 seconds longer to show what happens when Elke Sommer and that other guy are done spinning in that booth? That was probably the most badass part of this movie! -- with a drum roll building up to it and everything!

What Lee had to endure to make those actors look . The guy in the red vest was Bill ryusaki. Lee asked him to play Oharra in Enter the Dragon but he was injured at the time. He asked Norris . he said he wasnt getting killed twice by the chinese guy. Bob Wall got it by default.

I read somewhere once that Chuck would give pointers to Sharon Tate in between scenes so she would better on camera during her karate scenes. Its too bad he wasn't with her the night Charles Manson's gang showed up, things would have turned out differently then they did. Lets face it.... 3 women and one guy and only one gun, they wouldn't have stood a chance.

Chuck Norris did not miss with his trademark roundhouse kick nor did he get kicked. Chuck simply chose to trick Dean Martin in the most subtle of manners by proving to the world that he could usurp all of Dean Martin's fame and power by catching his foot in the most sensitive of areas. Even then, after Chuck leached the fame and absorbed the profound shooting skills of Dean (ref. Rio Bravo), Chuck realized he did not need either and discarded them knowing he was the better. It's important to notice that Dean Martin's filmography continued going down the toilet shortly thereafter as Chuck never returned Dean's fame to him. Conclusion: Even Chuck's first cameo appearance proved his fearsome power to destroy the real lives of these "actors". It wasn't but for a few movies later when Hollywood realized they need to start doing live footage and making documentaries revolving around this central man (i.e. not a character nor actor).
