Labour were clearly going to win this time and could afford to alienate the more hard-line Muslim votes (which typically go 75% to Labour, say) - hence the “This is for Gaza” independent candidates who didn’t think Labour was offering them nearly enough. Compared to Conservatives, Labour are sure to be more Islam-friendly but they still have a reasonably balanced policy towards Israel-Gaza from what I have heard and this parliament is unlikely to endorse Sharia.
