Weird title for the story , but good story with a great ending, they did the right thing getting custody of the niece, not entirely sure of what was going on with the Mom
Unless there is an overwhelmingly strong reason not to, contact the child's father. If that isn't an option, contact either set of grandparents to take the kid. If they can't or aren't available, either call CPS or make the mother surrender custody to you guys due to her being an unfit mother.
No there wasn't but it could have been since Teresa was left alone. Karen had left the baby on the door step before when they were home to force them to take care of her. So probably did it again while they were gone. Very dangerous.
I think that Karen is making the effort to be a better parent to her child. First by getting a job to support her daughter and herself, and second, by going to therapy to improve herself. I think that there is a possibility in the future that Karen can raise her child.
The child's welfare comes before parental rights. If Mom had been given custody before she was stable, who knows what would have happened to either of them?
“I get it,” she said nonchalantly. “No. I don’t think you do. If the police aren’t bringing her over because you are going to the hospital in an ambulance, we require at least 24 hours notice!”
I really enjoyed this story. You all did the right thing.👍🏼💕
Thank you 🤗
Great story!
Thanks for listening
You handled it just right

There was no child dying in the home.

THE TITLE DID NOT MATCH THE STORY. BUT IT WAS NICE A ONE. THE MAIN FOCUS WAS THE CHILD.
