Hi Larry, just caught your video on the TS 2000. Good video. However you forgot to mention that that rig also has a sub band that you can receive and transmit on on band while monitoring another. I have had one for that last 9 years. You are correct it is a “shack in a box” type rig great for limited space hams or newer hams with not a lot of money to spend. I have had my license since 2010 and started with a Yaesu 897. It was a great starter rig also but the Kenwood beats it all day. Just thought I would let you know that you missed a lot of the features a newer ham might enjoy. Thanks for great videos. De KJ6FXA

You're right James. I didn't mention that. I wish I had come to think of it. It's my friends rig and I'm literally afraid to touch it! No joke... he bought it new and never used it.
      No pressure there. right? lol

Thanks for your opinion on this radio. I just got my Technician's license and I wanted to get a capable, but future proof enough transceiver. I'm also really excited about the software use capability, specially to get to our local relay stations.
Someone in my country is selling one on 850 USD. Not sure if it is too expensive or just enough.

You have way too much bass EQ'd in on your youtube video. I had to go into my EQ menu and roll 100Hz way down or my HK speakers would rattle.
