I think Kurt Angle’s retirement match if not John Cena, it should’ve been Chad Gable. That would’ve been interesting, but Vince at that time turn Chad into Shorty G which I’m sure everybody can agree that gimmick was dumb.
Even if Corbin was so neccessary in the match thwy should've just made it a Triple Threat with Kurt, Baron Corbin & Cena And Corbin could be a heavy underdog on paper, but they could've wrote the match where he doesn't win (gets pinned by Kurt or Kurt pins Cena) but puts up a fight and impresses people
Randy wasn’t at the place he is in now back then , he was still a newbie and did not have much power until like 2009-2010 , his first power move was when he stopped Kofi’s push for messing a spot during a match , that’s when he knew he was irreplaceable.
I’ll never be able to understand not getting Kurt & Cena at Mania 35, especially because Cena didn’t even wrestle that night and he wanted to fight Kurt too
I still respect the Cody’s decision to add that stipulation. That said, at some point they should’ve found a way to break it, and by extension probably turn him heel.
I think a lot of people would really regret doing this racist stuff cause if they said no at the time they could have been fired which is a really crappy situation to be in although Vince was in charge so is anyone surprised
While getting fired definitely sucks, I would prefer that over saying racist shit to keep a job that probably wont be worth it in the long run- I do feel bad for the wrestlers tho..
I was never the biggest Zack Ryder fan, but his work now on the indies and TNA as himself, Matt Cardona, the death match king, is way better, and I'm glad guys like him and Dolph Ziggler (now also under his real name of Nick Nemeth) are truly makin names for themselves by havin some form of creative control with their crafts, because they're extremely underrated.
I can fully respect Cody for his decision in AEW. He put the company and everyone else before himself. You'd have to wonder how many others would've done the same given his circumstances at the time. I'd wager not many
It would’ve been interesting to see Cody as the AEW World Champion, that’s will always be a “What If”. But now he has the richest prize in the game the WWE Championship and he won it for his father the American Dream Dusty Rhodes
Huh, woulda figured Cody's greatest regret on TV would have been doing a superplex spot through a flaming table where the only thing that went through was HIM, even though he was on the offensive in that spot...
the company had a LOT of good talent, and the wrestlers / "superstars" had no place else to go if they didn't like the way they were treated.. and as fans, we really didn't have another serious choice to watch, even when many stopped watching wrestling completely and a few watched tna, there was still enough left that were like, well, what else will i watch?
Having a match stipulation that bans one of the Company's top talents to challenge for the top championship was already a dumb idea, but actually honoring it and not even try to circumvent or literally just straight up doing it cuz f the rules was wayyyyy dumber, bro it's pro wrestling, words and promises don't mean shit on screen
Kurt angle not wrestling John Cena really hurts. It was not like John Cena was unavailable. They wasted him for a segment with Elias. It was Just Vince punishing Kurt for signing with TNA. Thank God he's gone forever now.
It never should have been John Cena VS Nexus at all. Nexus should have run rampant on everyone, but not on the same show as John. Maybe my memory is foggy but I'm pretty sure they had the brand split at that time or was able to do trades at any time. An awesome trade could have been done. This star from the other show could have been built up to be the only one to do the job and reach stardom while doing it. They ruined it
You can tell the triple h joke on paige was a off the top thing because that doesn't make sense anyways😭. If she had kids she would for sure know since she is the one carrying the baby lol. She would know before the man would
Man, poor Torrie. Going from WCW (had its issues, don't get me wrong) to, week after week, having to deal with Vince's creative writing for her? And she's clearly not the only one that was made to be highly uncomfortable by him.

Vince was like Dan Schneider sometimes

Vince McMahon really held his talent back a lot.

Chad wasn’t even shorty g until way later in the year after Kurt was retired already
You could hear it in his voice as he was doing it that Jinder wanted no part of that promo, and I don't blame him one bit.
i dont care if people think its racist it's just not a good promo to begin with and its lazy..... wow godzilla and pokemon lol.
Shelton Benjamin was wild 💀💀💀
Man, Imagine being in Randy Orton shoes. I would've absolutely said no if i was his place.
Eddie was also someone Randy said mentored him on Smackdown too, can’t even imagine how that pressure must’ve felt for him
Randy at the time didn't have the stroke he would have later on.
let’s all bare in mind vince and his issues with power and authority. did he really give randy a chance to say no?
hell and heaven doesnt exist so who cares

Glad vince no longer controls things
We won't be seeing these horrific and stupid decisions again
I'm asian and Shelton Benjamin did good with the Japanese accent he wasn't racist and kept it clean
But Vince is with him constantly wanting to mock asian wrestlers
Everyone seems to regret what they say now but not back then. The world wasn’t soft back then like they are now
They had to keep their regrets to themselves until Vince was out of the company. That doesn't mean they didn't regret it when it happened.
It would’ve been interesting to see Cody as the AEW World Champion, that’s will always be a “What If”. But now he has the richest prize in the game the WWE Championship and he won it for his father the American Dream Dusty Rhodes
It wasn’t appropriate for hhh to make a joke but it was cool to let someone violate the company’s top women’s belt on film??
Jinder is actually the total opposite of what he's shown on tv
Yeah, he genuinely seems like a pleasant individual.
Cena is full of it. He has zero regrets about that. It’s not like he didn’t kill pushes before and after Nexus.
Him beating the Nexus was fucking stupid. Edge and Jericho even knew it was a bad idea
Bro, even in this video, Cena admitted he was wrong, what else do you want him to do
Better than Wrestlelamia channel
I am hoping we see less and less of this type of thing the longer Vince is in the rearviewmirror.
Its chris van vliet. Which is a dutch name, not a french name
THANK YOU
Zack ryder walked so logan paul could run
Huh, woulda figured Cody's greatest regret on TV would have been doing a superplex spot through a flaming table where the only thing that went through was HIM, even though he was on the offensive in that spot...
He's a "love of the game" type. Probably would have done it again if given the choice. Like how he wrestled with a pec torn completely off the bone.
That triple h one was funny 😂😂😂😂
Looking back
The signs were there
It’s amazing how the company didn’t fall under Vince’s reign with how many terrible decisions were made
the company had a LOT of good talent, and the wrestlers / "superstars" had no place else to go if they didn't like the way they were treated.. and as fans, we really didn't have another serious choice to watch, even when many stopped watching wrestling completely and a few watched tna, there was still enough left that were like, well, what else will i watch?
With Vince gone, we won't have to be subjected to that racist crap anymore.
I mean that regret won't haunt Cody too much... he has the most prestigious wrestling title in the world now.
It’s not the most prestigious title at all.
@@holzman00 what's more prestigious than the #1 title in the #1 company?

Anyone starting to see a pattern in these decisions?
WWE succeeded in spite of Vince, not because of.
Vince is the biggest pox on the WWE and it's stars.
Just putting on for background sound, then I just hear Randy say " I was gonna kill myself" had to pause what I was doing 😂😂
American pro wrestling is the ultimate trash TV. I can see why people get so attached.

Cody could've easily comeback with changing the stipulation and challenging for the world title by turning heel.
Every single one of these wrestling channels all they do is just recycle top 10 list from different channels everyone
Only losers cry about heel racism
