Having had NDEs & 3 weekends ❤ with Stan ❤ the phrase with "Tension" in it, I had 4 holotropic journeys, 3 with Stan 👍.
The soul/unconscious/aware, with my experiences was a place of resolve, vs of tension!💕

The problem with our western materialistic psychological view is that "unprocessed traumatic residues from their own physical incarnation are not valued, but considered to be all bad. Depth psychology considers these to be not limited to only externals, but how one reacts to externals which is based on past lives and psychological complexes from the collective unconscious. The superficial aspects of society and civilization do not give any value to negative emotion, depression, etc. These signify the shadow archetype and is what makes one human. Trauma separates one from the cosmic matrix or womb, the anima mundi. and represents individuation. Consequently, trauma and depression are part of a spiritual, transpersonal and impersonal process of psychological death and rebirth which includes "containing the opposites." I like what psychologist Kubler Ross wrote about the five stages of grief which also I think must apply to the psychological process as well as the physical. It is an emotional cycle of Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance

I am interested to hear arguments from Stan around “priming” the mind. Priming as a concept in psychology to describe how exposure to one stimulus may influence a response to a subsequent stimulus, without conscious guidance or intention. The priming effect is the positive or negative effect of a rapidly presented stimulus (priming stimulus) on the processing of a second stimulus (target stimulus) one that appears shortly after. Priming works most effectively when the two stimuli are in the same modality.

The idea is that there is a psychological reality that includes the opposites.
