How To Fix one problem of a hard wired/battery back up Ei 166RC Optical Smoke alarm. Dealing with the occasional False alarm.

Best way o protect your home is having insozaton smoke alarms in the bedrooms and optical in the landing, downstairs area and the sitting room you should install a heat detector in the kitchen, garage and attic for best protection throughout your home

I have two of these and the black covers won't budge on either of them. The little clips just broke off. Be careful.

Followed this video to the T but after Turing on the power its still bleeping. What should I do? Help

If it’s chirping, it means the battery level is low, replace the battery if possible, if the alarm is 10 years old or older, replace the alarm.
