    One of the best cover that i've ever heard! At first, i thought that is a synth (bottom synth) that plays MP4 format files, then i realized that it just your telephone.
    You used the best synths and the best sounds that gives back the synth tone of this great song, keep with this good work, you should cover some other Bon Jovi songs. :)

      Thanks a lot for the kind words! I actually have 2 other Bon Jovi covers on my page right now. The intro to "Let it Rock": ruclips.net/video/7vON9kYChvE/видео.html
      and also "Runaway": ruclips.net/video/aTek3WllelM/видео.html
      Plenty more to come as well! Subscribe if you'd like updates!

    what is the patch you are using on the NORD? and also the lower keyboard ? Thanks - sounds perfect

    • @BrianMcGraveyMusic
      @BrianMcGraveyMusic  5 лет назад

      The Nord is just one of the basic Sawtooth synths. The Roland keyboard has many layers and I also switch patches after the descending intro.

    Dear Brian, congratulations my friend. The best cover I'ver heard.
    I'll use it for my Berklee Online assignment.
    I have only question: what effect did you use on the pad at 1'30"
    Great work!

      Victor Nakasato thank you so much! That pad sound is one of the “orchestra hit” sounds on my roland fantom x8

  • @mversantvoort
    @mversantvoort Год назад +1

    Great cover! Did you use standard sounds on the Nord or did you create your own synth sounds or samples? If so, I'd love to have them :D There are so many sounds in this song and you got them all...

    • @BrianMcGraveyMusic
      @BrianMcGraveyMusic  Год назад +1

      The nord sound is just one of the generic 80s sawtooth sounds with the cutoff all the way up. The ones on the Roland I go through and layer and select sounds and edit manually

    Excellent demo - what sound are you using for the rundown?

    • @BrianMcGraveyMusic
      @BrianMcGraveyMusic  4 года назад +1

      It's a combination of 3 patches: Terra Nostra, Flange Dream and JP Spirit with just the right amount of reverb and delay. and I messed with the filter cutoff a little bit for each of the patches

  • @tooomasz
    @tooomasz 4 года назад

    hey, how did you make this synth sound at the beggining? Is it based on a sample? Thanks in advance! Great video!!

    • @BrianMcGraveyMusic
      @BrianMcGraveyMusic  4 года назад +1

      I did a lot of searching through Roland patches and ended up with these sounds: "Flange Dream", "Terra Nostra" and "JP Spirit". Along with the right amounts of delay and reverb on each

      @@andrewrohloff8758 you know you can slow down videos on youtube. Click the 3 dots in the top right corner if on mobile device and pick “playback speed”. If on computer i think it’s the gear symbol.
