Awesome video! The TinyGo is a great drone, but is inherently limited by the type of done it actually is, a "whoop". The freestyle drones are just less susceptible to weather and attitude changes. You've made the perfect video on how it feels to fly a freestyles drone.. I'm glad you recorded the audio as well. Looking forward to more content.
MAN! i can't right now! your so happy and it makes me feel good! i bought the nazgul evoqe v2 4s! it's on it's way but i flew the tinyhawk freestyle 2 for a while best mini drone ever! thanks for the video
Great flying. You’re getting so good. I also live in the 719. I have the TinyGo and a few of these 3 to 3.5” quads. Still a noob, but getting more comfortable. Thanks for sharing your progress. If you ever want to fly together sometime, hit me up.
The look is priceless, I so want one already and I've only had my TinyGo for a couple of weeks....have some fatshark goggles with rapid fire module and some new antennas on the way, next will be controller and receiver and then the baby ape or another toothpick...great videos, keep them coming!
Im actually studing your vids before i purchase the Darwin baby pro 3',,im really trying hard to understand the putting the receiver together an using the Beta fly app, another week ill buy the little guy,,i do have the DJI mini SE,,keep up the good work.Don Courtney Cole ,,Lincoln Nebraska
Sick flight bro, hay man do you know if you put a spectrum reseiver on the baby ape the signal wire goes to rx1, and the red to 3.3v and the black to ground right? Then you just set it up on betaflight.
Hi Nick, I'll come back to you to find out if you've done some tuning on the baby ape's PIDs since then? And if by chance this is the case could you give them to me?
I actually haven’t tuned it at all. I’ve just been flying it on the stock tune. I do still get propwash so I might try to tune that out, if I do I’ll make an update video on it.
Great video. A lead shot arborist bag and some line or a collapsible carbon fiber pole would be worth its weight in gold if you were any higher in the tree.
Do you have a video reviewing the baby ape in stock form comparing it to the tinygo's camera view aspect I'm ready to move up from the tinygo and would like to follow your progress with the baby ape thnx
Followed the steps in the first video, had it’s maiden flight today and wow it flies great 👍 Have you adjusted your rates since the first setup or stayed the same?
It does require soldering, but was fairly easy. The solder pads for the receiver on the baby ape come clearly labeled and pre tinned. If you need further help, I made a tutorial video that covers the full receiver install and set up
If you have the space for it, it kind of is. It has much better flight characteristics. But if it’s your first time flying the speed/power can be a bit much

Great job. Great job on the video I really enjoyed it.

That looks like so much fun. Great video
great stuff man! Love the videos! Especially the build for this little guy! After watching that i think I'm gonna try out a PNP cinedrone!😬
Waiting on the v2, the first " real" quad I will fly, wish me luck !!!
So awsome.. wat kind of batteries are you using bro...?

People complaining about the motors. Looks absolutely fine to me.
Great video, I wonder did you use 3s battery or 2s?
nice, you should add a insta360 go2 or a caddx peanut on that thing , would be a good little cine quad 👍🏻

Very cool 👍. Now to dive that building properly that you crashed your tinygo at 🙂

Great video! What battery and capacity are you using?
I’m using 450mAh 3s batteries from race day quads
Do you have a video reviewing the baby ape in stock form comparing it to the tinygo's camera view aspect I'm ready to move up from the tinygo and would like to follow your progress with the baby ape thnx
Are the motor crap?
i watched your babyape videos, good job! what is your resume 10 months later, would you buy it again?
I would and did, haha. They gyro finally died on me after a big crash and I just bought a whole new baby ape to replace it
Can I ask what batteries, radio, and googles you use for the baby ape
@@Kal_Gaming1 I use the radiomaster tx16s radio, sykzone 04x, and race day quads 3s 450mah lipo
Just got my baby ape as a present today, first drone. Any tips?
I would start in one of the simulators on the computer to get used to the controls first and then take it to a nice big open field/park
Already done at least 100hours of sim and have been taking out the drone at an open field recently.@@719FPV
Followed the steps in the first video, had it’s maiden flight today and wow it flies great 👍 Have you adjusted your rates since the first setup or stayed the same?
I have slightly adjusted my rates since then
Like the channel man!! What goggles are you running?
I use the skyzone 04x v2
how long before replacing the motors you think?
What mah battery are you running and what battery is it
Your flying in horizon right , i ask cayse the way your turns are? Pretty good any way too be your 2nd kwad?
No I’m flying in acro mode, and thank you it is
@719FPV How hard was it to install the receiver? I have one on the way.
It does require soldering, but was fairly easy. The solder pads for the receiver on the baby ape come clearly labeled and pre tinned. If you need further help, I made a tutorial video that covers the full receiver install and set up
What size batteries are you seeing the best performance out of? What are you using in this video?
I use 450mAh 3s batteries from race day quads and that’s all I’ve tried so far.
what is the app for the baby ape pro on ios so i can use vr goolies
is it easier than a tinywhoop?
If you have the space for it, it kind of is. It has much better flight characteristics. But if it’s your first time flying the speed/power can be a bit much
Could you put a go pro on there
It would have to be a naked GoPro as there’s not much room on top with the battery.
@@719FPV 👍
what battery?
I use a rdq 450mAh 3s
You think I could fit a runcam 5 on it?
Yeah I think that’s probably a perfect size camera for this
Does anyone know if the Baby Ape will fly on 1s at all ? Start up at all ? Take off at all ?
It probably will but not fly very long
@@719FPV Hi :). Would you check if it will start and lift off at all on a 1s battery ? Some fpv flyers are guessing it will not even take off... lol
@@NeoFrontierTechnologies I don’t have any 1s batteries that have a xt30 connector so I can’t test it.
what's the mAh of that battery bro?
Its a 450mAh
@@719FPV do u think i can use a 650 mAh 3S with it?
@@TrippyFPV469 yeah, I think it would handle the extra weight no problem
@@719FPV awesome! Thnx man🙏🏼🔥
What is that lipo a 4s
It is a 3s 450mAh
