  • Beany's was one of thousands of burger and shake Drive-In joints throughout the U.S. After WWII, America's men and women returned home and began an economic boom that will not soon be forgotten. Heartfelt thanks to the "Greatest Generation" our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents for their sacrifice and determination to make this country what it is today. Take a few minutes and enjoy a nostalgic journey back in time. The '50's, the music, the movies and the memories helped to define a vast generation of 'Baby Boomers'. Enjoy!

Why were there so few palm trees in LB back then?

I was born 20 years too late to actually live in this time period 😢 but my imagination and watching videos like this and listening to the music and even as far as sometimes wear the fashions from back then etc brings me back the best way possible ❤

Great job Leonard. There's a guy on another RUclips channel who published a 2:24 minute version of this but yours is far better. The music is spot on for that era.
The other RUclips video used a piece by Fats Domino which wasn't released until early 1962 so ... again, outstanding job.

This is truly wonderful. bout 10 years before my time, but it resembles the old Long Beach that I remember.
