wtf, just about every serve from the guy with long hair was illegal, way above his hip and he throws the ball up as well, this is laughable to say the least
What's laughable is you don't seem to know the rules, yet still comment. You can throw the ball up as high as you want, but contact has to be below the belly button, on an upwards swing, with the paddle head below the wrist. His serves were all legal, which is why the ref didn't call him, nor did his opponent. Yet an armchair viewer that doesn't know what they are talking about does. That should be given appropriate weight.
The rule about throwing ball up being illegal only recently changed and possibly only for pros. Same goes for belly button vs waist. Pros also now must strike below waist. This match is old. His serves legal.
@@DaShap It is only for pros, but the rules is a mess. Was supposed to make the rules more enforceable, and some say to de-weaponize the serve, but it hasn't done either. That rule is on a one-year trial, they will have to change it again. The way they're going you'll have to serve off a "T"

Your comment is so asinine you’d be walking away with your tail between your legs… that Dude is Matthias Johansson, your multi National Champion.
