Just got a new one. Very snappy sound due to the ebony fretboard..but..one thing...the pickups gotta go. Those of us who are accustomed to say PAF type will quickly notice this. The good news is everything else about the guitar as far as tone/sound is great. Ash body, ebony fretboard, and hardtail make for upgrade of sound and feel. Pickup swap will just be the frosting on the cake

Why would they not go Ebony on the fretboard? I don't get it.
I wondered the same, but the rosewood has a pretty dark grain that looks great and plays wonderfully. Of of my favorite guitars!
Grain is pretty dark indeed... I just checked the official website and specs state it is Macassar Ebony! Getting confused now... ^_^
ironguitar yeah I’m pretty sure it’s ebony. I saw that on the site too. Although many people keep saying its rosewood online. It’s like the eclipse on Sweetwater too noticed it’s says 25.5 scale and it’s 24.75 and some even say 24 frets but it’s 22. Idk lol

nunofrg I think I may know what you mean. I love everything everything about its appearance except the big dot inlays. But usually the way my taste is I prefer guitars that don't look like they would only be used to play metal. Your taste is like that too?
