Here is a canadian explaining the canadian tuxedo lol: Bing Crosby was once refused entry into a hotel while on tour in Canada, because he wasn't wearing a suit or a tux; he was just wearing a denim jacket and jeans; apparently the workers at the hotel didn't recognize him or something. And then following this incident, he and the media started calling his full denim suiting the Canadian tuxedo. (I swear Canadians have gotten more laid back since eheheh). You are actually the first makeup person who have addressed the issue of hair sticking to face when we use certain products and I am so thankful for it. I used to think it’s just me. 🙂
I always wonder how people keep so many products out of their eyes. I notice that I get concealer or tiny specs of eyeshadow in my eyes all the time. I've never used so many eyedrops before when my skin was perfect all on its own and I wore little to no make up.

I've loved and worn Chanel since the 1980s, their shadows are refined and elegant, perfect for a timeless look without being over the top.
I've been on my own this Easter, I have binge watched loads. I'm 50 and getting back into wearing makeup. My eyeshadow skills have improved.
And just to note. I bought my only lux mascara lash clash. I love it sooo much. Makes such a difference.

Omgosh Chanel shadows are DEFINITELY right up my alley!!! I’m a more “natural look” makeup wearer and a one-and-done shadow lover❤ and this sounds right up my alley!! I have many Natasha Denona pallets, and they’re just TOO pigmented for my everyday looks (I like them for going out… but, at my age, those days are not as often as they used to be🤷♀️) I’m grabbing that blue pallet for sure ❤️❤️

I didn’t realize that. I always thought it’s because old school northerns live in denim even during more dressed up events (Mainer here).

The first lipstick you showed us, I think that it didn’t match with the blush you have on, the others are awesome! Oh my goodness that YSL lip! I love the combo of Sephora collection sink or suede liner with YSL nude lavalle (pls excuse the spelling!) but omg I thought it was a sham YSL lipstick were so expensive but once I found that combo and the formula is pottery thin, you can apply it all day. It's amazing one of my best person ever. I think I have four because I'm afraid to run out!! great as always, Andrea❤

I also have combination skin!! I always powder with loose powder !! What powder is best for aged eyes to set for the day? Eyeshadow is perfect!! P.D.: I used to buy Chanel's eye shadows, (quite time ago, because it used to be really pigmented & longlasting. But for some reasons, they don't do it anymore. . .
Haus labs undertones are switched compared to the system most makeup brands use, like MAC. So their cool tones are golden/yellow in undertones and their warm tones are rosy/pink in undertones 😊

Haus labs is reversed with warm cool logic. Cool is what we normally consider warm and warm us what we consider cool. Another makeuo artist had said that. Also mac is reversed too

I take it all back. Ordered from Jouer and was charged a lot for delivery despite being offered free delivery and the order has not shown up. Requested contact from Jouer twice and just get an email saying wait longer. Weird shipping service and lousy service from Jouer.

I just love this look -- this is pretty much my go to look these days -- soft and gently glowy. My go to equivalent to the Merit highlighter is the Westman Atelier in Peau de Peche. That compact is my holy grail. I will be buried with a compact of it! 🤣😂

I have oily eyelids and struggle to use cream eyeshadow. I love the charlotte tilbury ones, but after 2/3 hours it will crease. I noticed when using an eye primer with it, it won’t blend very well. Do you have a tip?

You can make all makeup look great with your magic touch. Is there another brand that has a shadow that is similar to the Chanel taupe one you use as your base? Unfortunately that Chanel eyeshadow quad was limited edition and it is sold out now.
