Hell is not biblical. Sheol, Hades, Ghenna is falsely translated as Hell. People go to the grave and are raised and judged. Then they face the second death which is the Lake of Fire. They perish there. The Lord is good and he desires all to be saved. He doesn’t keep the unbelievers alive forever to be punished. Fear the Lord and see that He is good. His kindness draws us to Him. See rethinking Hell for more on this.

Please pray for me to grow closer to God. Ive been very sinful by putting His word on the back burner. I dont understand why i struggle so much either. I cry and yet still fail. Relationships are super important to me yet im a hypocrite in this instance.

Praying for you ! Remember Jeremiah 17:9 “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” Romans 8:7-9 also reminds us that the Sinful mind is always at war with God. It does not obey Gods law. It can’t. So those who are controlled by their sinful nature can’t please God. But your sinful nature does not control you. The Holy Spirit controls you. The spirit of God lives in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ. This scripture reminds us to not let any thought that doesn’t align with God’s truth go unexamined. Just as you have right now when you question yourself. It’s not easy because the flesh is worldly, Paul observes this with the Christians in Corinth. So it is important for us to actively participate in our growth. God works in us through the power of the Holy Spirit but if we are careless and do not make ourselves accountable then we’ll remain as lukewarm Christians. I used to have a hard time too but often it is in our darkest days and hours of hardships that we find the Lord. Daily devotional have helped me quite a lot especially acknowledging that we have to deny ourselves (Colossians 3:3-5) and accept that the old “Wordly” self is dead and a new life is now in Christ. However acknowledge that we on our own cannot do it without him.

Thank you so much Bishop Mar Mari for your teaching . I must confess I've never read the entire Bible but need to. Actually, I will confess again, I am lazy. Honestly, I've always trusted in the Lord to take care of me and my family. As many preachers taught place all our trust into the Lord's hands. One of my favorite parts is where Jesus says, and I'm very humbly paraphrasing, to not change even one letter of His word. And this part really upsets my wife and probably many Catholic women but even the Virgin Mary is not to be worshiped like He and His Holy Father. She is definitely the Mother of Jesus and so many times greater than any Saint. I truly am sorry if I've not stated that correctly and if you could possibly teach me again I would be so grateful!! Just the other day, I mentioned what you just said about tyrannical governments and their voter fraud. And how all us maga Trumpers will be blowing our trumpets for another landslide victory except this time we will not be cheated! I thought and probably misconstrued my reading of the trumpets in the book of revelations. I'm heading over to St Patrick's to repent and confess my sins.
