Great comment thanks Rat Cuz and it's such a good feeling as you'll know. Like you've reached the top of the mountain! Replied to your comment yesterday and it disappeared so this is my second attempt! Next video is exhaust repairs then it's straight to the garage for a MOT. It'll be so special riding the bike on the road at last! Love and big hugs :)x
Ah, a new roar from The Highlands, feral haggis take to ground, for Squint has all his voices back, a steady four strong sound, yon Scottish pipes lend baritone, as the intakes soar like tenors, this boy sounds ready to rock n'roll, as his nurse slips on some leathers . . . . (Not even close, was it? . . Ho-hum, the rhyme may be crap but the image was an absolute killer!) Well done you two . . . & thank Percy Verance too, eh? - what a mover : ) x
Thanks and a great comment as always hun. Haywire McSquint sends his regards lol. Exhaust repairs next then straight to the garage for a MOT. The haggis better watch out! :)
Thanks Besty. There's more blood and sweat in this bike than the rest lol. So to me he's extra special! Sometimes I think we took the long way round to get there but so completely worth it! Cheers! Take care and big hugs 😀🍻👍
Much appreciated thanks. It took longer than expected as there was so many things that needed fixed but what a great feeling it is, riding and seeing the bike restored :)
Thanks hun and it's been a Very Long road! lol. A long hard journey but worth it! Exhaust repairs next followed by a MOT. As one chapter ends, another begins! Best wishes and ride safe :)
@@Ratqueenbikes might be a good idea to install a small universal baffle in the pipe, you could thread a section of the pipe to take a bolt. Looking forward to the next installment! SR
@@SurreyRider Thanks hun and it's a good idea however it's easier to leave it and only add if necessary. There one hole and leak needing repaired! Regarding exhaust noise it's at the MOT'ers discretion and I think it'll be fine. Or maybe I'm at the point I've done enough mechanics and just want to ride it! lol ;) Take care.. RQ :)
Such a lovely comment thanks and I much appreciate you watching right from the start. It's been a long hard journey but worth it! Best wishes and take care. Respect and ride safe :)
Thanks ma dear and it wont be long! Exhaust repairs next then it's straight to the garage for a MOT. It will be so good to see the bike road legal and ride it properly at long last. I couldn't have done it without you and truly appreciate your support. Take care hun and big hugs :)
@@Ratqueenbikes what's not enjoy. You have these dear, helpful friends, an interest in wrenching on vintage motorcycles, and have a vision all your own with building it.
Glorious to hear the beast roar and see the joy it brings hun :-) A crackin' addition to the stable for sure, looks proper. Take care me dear 'til we catch up. Love 'n' hugs to ya xx
As always a lovely comment, thanks ma dear and he's my retirement bike! Lower and easier to ride lol. I'm looking forward to the day we can all meet up again and remember your welcome to stay and visit here anytime! Take care hun. Lots of love and big hugs :) x
Great work RQ - I had every faith that your patience and perseverance would pay dividends in the end! Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations as well as your successes - it makes great watching! Take care!
Great comment thanks hun and I love sharing with you. What a journey eh! The trials and tribulations are all part of it. I'm just so glad I've finally won! It's a great feeling! Take care.. Respect and ride safe :)
What a feeling that must be. Its looking powerful, not powerful as in unrelenting performance more so like its presence is enough to intimidate and settle anything. Theres a certain dystopian decorum to it. Very cool. When I was a small kid this is the kinda bike that came to mind when I envisioned a real bike not a plastic sporty thing. It could easily be something from an 80's film about a badass and his steed. Well done
Fantastic comment thanks and I completely get what your saying! There's something special about old bikes. The way they look and run. If only they could talk and tell us there story lol. My future plan is to rat the bike as if it belonged in a mad max film. So your comment is perfect thanks. Respect and ride safe :)
Thanks for your lovely comment Mal. What a journey it's been but worth it! Just some exhaust repairs then the bikes heading for it's MOT. Happy days! I've much appreciated all your support through the project. Take care and ride safe hun :)
So glad to see it finally fixed up and running, really enjoyed the whole journey, but please dont stop making these vids hahah get another project. Well done again.
Thanks for your comment and great to hear. No worries lol. There's two more vids on the gs550 to finish it. Then it's back to my gs450 project. There's still loads to do! :)
Just Wonderful to hear her running, Now what’s the first adventure she will be going on in 2021. Please continue to upstate on all the rubber she puts down.
Lovely comment thanks. Next video planned is exhaust repairs. After that it'll then be straight to the garage for a MOT. So as soon as the bike is road legal we'll go for a proper ride! :)
Hi and thanks for your lovely comment. I think it's great you have a 125cc. Ride free and safe. The next video is exhaust repairs then after that's finished I will put the bike in for an MOT at a garage. Here in the UK we have our bikes tested once a year so they are road legal. Then we can go for a proper ride! Best wishes :)
