I love that facility! Beautiful track and surroundings including the landscaping, sculptures AND the world class museum. Just an oasis near Birmingham.
The C7Z does have some overheating issues on track but if you have the M7 those issues only show up when the outside temperature is above 90 degrees. Over 90 degrees my car will overheat after around 12 minutes of track time. Then I alternate cool down lap/ hot lap and keep having fun. The car and I enjoy the cooler track days! Thanks for watching
My 2019 ZO6, M7 has had no overheating issues on track in Texas. Maybe I am just lucky, but at Ron Fellows @ 114 degrees the 2019 I drove with A/C on had no issues either.
Great driving! Is this a Z07 package car? Starting to track my non-Z07 equipped Z and trying to figure out whether I can get away with scrubs / higher grip tires or stick to higher treadwear tires to match the softer suspension. Just snagged the DSC controller which I expect helps with the body control to an extent. Also, which size scrubs are you running? Thank you in advance
Well setup and well driven, I was taught to put the gas on the floor at the beginning of the inside rumble strip in turn 2, it's scary AF but it works. What Chin group is this? Is it at the end of the day combined group?
Thank you. Red group. I’ll work on building up my nerve there in January with Just Track It. It is scary to go full throttle there. The car does have enough power to push the front to far going down the hill not to mention this beast loves to step out in the rear. It’s set up the best it’s ever been so I’ll give it a go. Stay tuned. Check out the latest video from Barber. New PB 1.31.22
@@acceleratedcorvette5733 Get the gas on at the beginning of the rumble strip and have it down by the end of the rumble strip. It's hard to do. You can also carry way more speed through turn 1 than your brain is telling you.
Sounds like fun but I’m not going this weekend. I’m waiting on a new catalytic converter. Mine cracked the last session. It’s on back order. I would delete it but I’m riding out this factory warranty till the end!
I'm getting rained out at Barber this weekend, My warranty ran out last month on my car. So now, C.A.I and full length Corsa exhaust is on its way...also I spoke with Todd on tires and wheels,, thanks for the hook up.

I completely agree. It’s one of my favorite tracks. Thanks for watching
Wow! great driving!!! Really smart lines, no rushing to the apex... great work.
Thanks David. Hope to see you at a track soon!
Nice but I am confused on the red-line upshifts. Can't say I've seen that before.
Good work. I know some of the people you passed in this video. I wasn't there to see it in person but this vid will do.
Cool, thanks
Nice
Great driving! Amazed you didn’t overheat.

@@joelpierce3940Gotta love the Z. At most tracks my car never overheats no matter the outside temperature but some tracks it will if it’s hot enough

Sorry for the late reply. I just saw your comment.
In this video the car (non ZO7) was stock with Pirelli 305/660/18 front
325/680/18 rear

The short shifting hurt me a little
It doesn't make quicker lap times wringing it's neck on every shift
