- French coloratura soprano from around the 1970s had this glorious album of Strauss waltz French vocals, not available now.
Images of the Vienna woods.
Cleaned up from a noisy vinyl LP.

I'm so in love with her❤❤❤
I first heard this during the Disco era of the 70's and fell in love with Mesple. It sounds just as fresh today as it did when I first heard it.
So beautiful and unworldly!
I grew up playing this album incessantly. I adore her... REISSUE IT!
How I've searched for this recording. I had it over 20yrs ago and lost it. It is so nice to hear a bit of it again. I hope someone was able to reissue it on CD. What a beautiful voice for this music.
Mesplé excelente ,mi favorita y con este lp,voices of spring,la admiro y disfruto su gran voz.yo conservo este lp como una joya, hermoso.
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks.
I wish you had her voices of spring! I love it too!
In 2022 I can’t find this amazing recording on CD or ITunes. Thank You for sharing!
I'm also searching for it. Have you found this recording finally?
@@paulovp789 I have found Mady Mesplé sings Strauss ll. It includes Tales of the Vienna Woods. Your comment prompted me to look again. iTunes, recently added their iTunes “Classical” library, a separate App. For no add’l charge to me. I found Mady Mesplé’s recording of Strauss ll. I am just starting to listen 🎧 to ensure it’s the same recording. Frank Pourcel appears to be involved, that seems possibly ( to me) a later recording, but I will know more after listening. I thank you for prompting me to look again. Let me know if you want to know more. Cheers
@@peterd.9522 I'm glad that my comment has made you do some research :). Yes, I would be very thankful if you told me more. What you are telling me is very interesting. I love Mady Mesplé.
About the recording, I think that the user who uploaded it had modified its sound a little bit. Maybe it could sound like a different one due to that reason. Thank you.
I can't imagine a better compliment, and from a knowledgeable person. I'll bet the reaction will lead to a reissue.
I love Mado Robin too. But if you held a gun to my head and asked me to choose which I liked better, I'd have to go with Mady Mesple.
Robin's sound was thinner, not as round.
Mesples' was more full-bodied. It was amazing how her voice carried no hint of shrillness even when she hit the highest of highs.
maravillosa voz, es un deleite escucharla, gracias mil, seria hermoso escuchar algunas mas de las piezas de ese disco.
Beautiful voice, a very secure technique. Her Bel canto and coloratura is so beautiful With excellent phrasing and sweet voice. LOVE IT. Thanks for sharing it.
She is my queen
Pourquoi toujours comparer deux artistes et choisir laquelle est la meilleure. Ne peut-on juste apprecier ce que l'une et l'autre amene au lieu de toujours diminuer une en faveur de l'autre?
This track is on the 80th anniversary CD set. It seems to be the only one currently issued in any way.
I don't know that CD, tell us about it. This is not from the operetta of that name.
