    I let the advertisement before the video run in full, I really want the creator to get paid well. This is incredibly well explained, bravo to the creator! I wish they had an award for scientific/ educational video such as above for RUclips. The world needs more of this type videos that enlightens and educate the people, this is why we Internet pioneers worked day and night on open source internet in the 90s, so educational materials like this can flow freely and free mankind.

    Another remarkably lucid and insightful video; we are SO fortunate to be able to access educational masterpieces such as this. THANK YOU. I came to this after listening to an old episode of BBC Radio 4's "In Our Time" series" on the subject of the PHOTON. I'm a huge admirer of Melvyn Bragg (the host) and regard the "In Our Time" archive as an intellectual treasure trove and was therefore shocked that the three SMEs in the studio, after spending 45 minutes on the wave-particle duality of light, concluded by saying they don't personally believe it; these were not "electric universe" nuts or "flat earthers" but tenured faculty from major UK physics departments! Based on your video, it seems Compton set out, in essence, to replicate Einstein's Photoelectric work with X-Rays instead of UV. It is remarkable that, in his apparently triumphant overthrow of Maxwell, he regressed all the way back to Newton and billiard balls; quite astonishing "out of the box" thinking.

      Yup. If you replace the momenta with the sides of the triangles in the diagram, you get a proof of the law of cosines. This happens because both momenta and lengths of triangles are proportional to the sines/cosines of the relevant angles.

    At 12:20, what it means “ the electron is strongly bonded “ ? Sounds like a miracle exception from Neil Bohr’s model of atom in which the strongest bond is in orbit 1. BTW, is there any chance that some photos didn’t hit anything when passing through the material? Or any chance some photos encountered with the nucleus?

    16:38, I have a doubt sir. This doubt could be very silly, but after you multiply both sides of equation with c, delta p.c can be thought of as delta m.v.c which isn't equal to m.c² since the velocity of an electron can never equate to the speed of light, hence how can u say that it's equal to delta E?
    And I know in Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, Delta refers to the Gaussian/mean distribution of the probability of finding it at many energies when I measure it. And the peak of this Energy distribution is greater than or equal to h bar times c divided by 2L

    • @physics_enthusiast_Soorya
      @physics_enthusiast_Soorya 2 месяца назад +1

      Another theory is that.. the delta p stays as it is. And since electron can't exceed the speed of light, the mass (m) in p = m.v starts to increase once the v approaches c. (Assuming delta L is approaching a very tiny scale) and the mass simply increases. No need of mc²

      With eardrums intact, there is very little likelihood of drainage via the ear canal. Much more likely, drainage will be through the lower sinus into the back of the throat.
      There is a theory of how rapid and numerous doses of a fluid called Tequila can slow and even prevent the melting in the first place, thus greatly reducing the risk of drainage.
      Hopefully, this helps your friend.

    Regarding the principle of energy conservation (as discussed around 8:12), why is it always equal before and after? Could it be possible that some energy is lost immediately before and even during the collision of the particles due to some form of interference or other factors and therefore the before and after results are not equal?
