I’m making a bold metaphore now - I hope someone agrees but remember in Naruto Shippuden when Gaara asked the kages: “when did you all forsake yourselves?” same vibes
They did an incredible job of having us experience it through Duncan. Showing the chaos and how messy the fighting is, but not being able to see everything. Finally the moment where the sound is muffled and you can hear the first "tell him" and then "TELL HIM!" gave me real chills.
"I will take Ser Duncan's side" plucked at a heart string that had been dormant in me for quite some time. Baelor the Based may not have been long for this series, but by the seven his impact was enormous.
Just realized it's basically the 'On your left' of Westerosi stories and you know what, that's totally fine. Baelor will forever be the coolest royal in the GoT IP.
Not only was Ser Arlan goated for saving Dunc, his squire/nephew had died in the recent battle. Man was drinking, heaving, and grieving, and still protected Dunc. Dude was a freaking HAUS.
@valance10yup absolutely watched that ish it cracked me in half - of course hes complicated he probably wasnt a true knight himself but i guess this is all about having that inside you all along without question ser arlan killed many people to protect others
I feel that many people overlook the religious aspect of the trial by seven by because it was so subtly done. The whole point of the trial is that if the accused knight is righteous then the gods will intervene, and that is exactly what happened. When Duncan topples over, I think he truly died. The open eyed, thousand yard stare, says it all. Masterful acting. Sir Arlen telling Dunk to get up, after his flashback, was The Mother resurrecting him because he was innocent and just. Great writing, really
Don't forget how Baelor rigged it by going against guards sworn to protect him. You could argue the "gods" didn't appreciate the loophole and punished him for it.
I agree that there was divine intervention, though I don't believe the Seven had anything to do with it. To clarify: I don't believe any of the religions in the world of Ice and Fire are "correct." I think there is a higher power behind all supernatural and magical happenings, but that any given religion is effectively just a guess. There's no evidence, for example, that flame visions are the Lord of Light's doing. Rituals practiced by Red Priests result in them, and it makes sense for priests of fire to attribute their god of fire to magic involving fire, but at no point, as far as we know, has a higher power spoken directly to a living person, introduced themselves as the Lord of Light, and declared definitively that the Lord of Light faith is accurate. It's all just Joe Spitballer taking a stab at it.
Start with the book then. Don’t waste your time on Got show. Or at least drop it after 4th season for your sake(and still read from start since earlier seasons also have drastic changes for the worse). Asoiaf is peak
Ignore the last four seasons of game of thrones Nothing but fanfic by D&D with shitty dialogue and character development Those idiots favor spectacle over substance Ideally you should read the books Then read them again to dive in between to discover all that can be missed upon a first reading (or a third)
I myself will go on the same pilgrimage as you, Ser! (lol) I've watched the show up to S5 but never really bothered with the books because I, very embarassingly admit, thought that the show was just similar to the books. Not very far off, I thought. . .I was HELLA dead wrong xdd
That truly is the curse of the Targaryen house, constantly they have truly great men who wouldve made wonderful kings and brought peace and prosperity to their people, only for them to die before getting the chance to take their seat upon the throne, and one of the shittier or more mad Targaryens end up sitting there instead.
Not in this case, though. Maekar fought for the short-term benefit of his family, and the honor of his son. Baelor fought for the honor of his whole family, and their long-term benefit. He fought to prove to the people that there was at least one honorable Targaryen. The dynasty is holding on by a thread and they've lost their dragons. The whole point of them being at the tourney is PR - and they've been miserably failing at it so far. Without Baelor fighting for Dunk you could say that the Targaryens win in the short term, but they lose the respect of the people who are getting more and more willing and able to overthrow them.
Dunk is just a good fucking dude. You immediately respect him and love him. On top of being a simpleton his principles are simple. There’s no gray area. The show plucked my heartstrings several times.
@cyberkoala2568 If someone has that spoiled for them because they chose to watch this video and scrolled through the comments they only have themselves to blame.
What also makes the fight great, is that they had the armour acts how it would have historically. No paper thin armour, that's there for show and offers no protection. Mail Armour is shown to be great at taking slashes but can be pierced, plate takes the slashes and thrusts but fails to brunt force (Maekars mace would have probably been the greatest threat to both plate and mail). They also use historically accurate fighting techniques, including one I never thought I'd see in a mainstream show. When Dunk "gelds" Aerion (which he doesn't he just knicks him in the inner thigh), he uses a half handing technique. Aerion hits dunks visor with his cross gaurd which was a legitimate technique. Then the fact that Dunk and Aerions fight ends in the mud with grappling and Aerion trying to get his dagger into the gaps, perfection.
@studiogreyfox1226Yup, a properly fitting helmet needs to sit a bit looser, so that the impact going to the padding instead of directly to the part of your skull that was hit That helmet wasn't his, he borrowed it so he could fight, it just show his character, he put on a borrowed armor, just so he could do the right thing in that moment
@viniciusaraujolago even sadder is that the armor he borrowed is his son's, valarr's, which is why it's too small for him. valarr's tragic scene in the last episode where he questions how many fathers have died in their son's armor... phew. just so sad.
@ryankerins361grrm has stated he's a liberal and a feminist. Akotsk is a story critiquing power and the upper class on their superiority complex and oppression, how lower classes suffer below them. It's woke.
@r@ryankerins361’s REAL WOKE, not fake Woke. There were woman and trans on the writing staff. Fake Woke in stories feels contrived. For example, in RoP, Galadriel really was (in Tolkien) a Warrior in her younger days AND filled with too much pride, but the screenwriters spent the first half of the first season hitting us over the head with it. That’s Fake Woke by male writers trying to PROOVE they are woke rather than just NOT being bigoted D’s. This show is MORE WOKE because the women are real people as are all the men of every CLASS.
Great summary. The other thing I loved about the final episode - everybody was limping about and had the shit kicked out of them. Most post battle scenes show everyone walking about like nothing happened, with a small scratch on the forehead. Here, everyone except Raymund is on crutches and really broken, which is exactly how I feel after a hard jiujitsu class.
Unironically the best moment in the Stormlight Archive. A moment of pressing on into what should be an impossible task motivated by sheer sense of duty, resolve, and refusal to capitulate.
In Ser Duncans speech of being a Knight, with honor and him asking if there were any true Knights, it awoke something within me to stand. Without even realizing it, I stood and felt as if my height was increased by his call. It was surreal to experience. Although I think I'd have died in that tourney, it would have been an honor. This show, with how bite sized it is, felt more real than anything in TV or film in a while. Really appreciate the people behind bringing this to life as I think this is what Game of Thrones is at the core.
I love how he says he will send the maestor "after he is done tending to my brother", even with the injuries he obtained (which he may obviously be oblivous to), he still wants his brother and then Duncan to be tended to before himself.
As a kid, you'd imagine what it would feel like to be a noble knight on his trusty steed wielding a big ass sword into battle. That was why Oblivion was so amazing. And then this show comes out and puts you into the helmet of a knight as he charges towards an opponent with lance and shield in hand. Or when he sees a morning star hurling towards his head. Everything my inner child could have wished for.
why does no one seem to realize that the cut to the upper thigh is a real world fatal strike at a weak point in armor...that was Dunk actually remembering valid training it wasn't about gelding the prince.
This series did what I did not think was possible Teach you that in a cynical world like Game of Thrones you still want to be the chivalrous and the noble
To have a debut season with zero stinkers, an arguable 10/10 episode and doing so while only having 6 30-40 minutes at a time is so impressive. Strongest first season ever
I saw a single episode of this show and immediately went out and bought the novellas. Martin loves his depressing nihilistic stories to be sure, but these are like a ray of light cutting straight through all the grime and grit in A Song of Ice and Fire. We need more of these characters. I could watch a dozen seasons of this show if it stayed even a tenth as good as this season was.
Have you read them before? What did you think of them of them if you have read them? Man I hope they keep making more. George have Ira outlines for the 12 novellas.
@Dewz8811 I've read the first two so far and I ADORE them. The show takes some liberties with certain things to fill out the episode count, but from what I understand it's all stuff approved directly by Martin himself. I sincerely hope we get all of them on-screen. I definitely preferred the Dunk and Egg stuff to Fire and Blood. Out of 10 as far as the first season's adaptation goes I'd give it a solid 8.5. Things are slightly changed in a couple of places but all of them, at least for me, are for the better. Definitely recommend them.
@garrettwhite5943I’ve read them all and I’ve read all of his works. I was just curious what someone who hadn’t read them thought. It’s so nice to see these novellas and this adaption gain appreciation because they’re such good stories!
This one of the few shows that I can actually enjoy re-watching almost immediately. I plan on binge watching the show tomorrow. I wish the episodes were a bit longer but other than that, the show is amazing.
Exactly!! I have never ever started to rewatch something straight after finishing it. Whether a show or a movie, this is a first. I get chills even thinking about this complete marvel of storytelling, characters, cinematography, sound, comedy plus it being a GOT theme. Simply restarted the thing right away cause this is very very special.
@xeno9671and he’s a pretty solid guy too. He even tells dunk that he doesn’t want to have this conversation when he’s talking about the rigged joust and is trying to look out for him when he’s eavesdropping
It was a very refreshing departure from the crap we have had the "epic" can be cool, but really its hard to do the epic well on mass I think that is what is missed ... the epic is most "cool" and impactful when its minimal, Lord of the Rings is a great example of that ... there where some seriously epic scenes in it ... but they where sparing and far between most of the show was grounded even for the very definition of high fantasy. Epic works, when its an accent mark over a grounded story ... not when its all you get
I appreciate you bro, opened my eyes to many payoffs I did not see. Like Ser Lyonel Baratheon knighting Raymun was the exact same shot as Ser Arlan shrugging.. mainly because Dunk was never knighted! and having Dunk put his sword between Aerion's legs. The barking of both Dunk and Egg was an obvious pay off but still, soo many of these scenes just made sense
When that game of thrones theme kicked in episode 4 they were like “yup you’re watching peak game of thrones again”. I got goosebumps from that, (I just started watching game of thrones after I finished a knight of the seven/nine kingdoms)
It hits so much harder because I reckon we all believed at that point the show had actually earned it. Whereas the usage at the start was done for the sake of subversion the usage of the theme in episode 5 was perfectly placed, used when the show actually peaked.
13:06 Now that you have mentioned about daredevil fight sequences, while watching this fight scene of AKOTSK I was thinking I've seen this type of raw & real fight sequence it's not new to me, but i couldn't recall where , thanks to your mentioning I just realized that how similar both of these fight sequences are Raw & Real, no music, one could feel every hit by & to the protagonist
This series made being a kind person cool.
This and Superman
Ted Lasso too!
it was always cool to be kind :)
Genuinely kind, not the fake theatre of "empathy" and "tolerance" the mentally ill left screech about as they are shooting people in the neck.
@dawhandaonli5925you beat me to it. I hope we get more creative media on kindness. We need it
*_"ARE THERE NO TRUE KNIGHTS AMONG YOU?!"_* unironically goes so fucking hard.
I’m making a bold metaphore now - I hope someone agrees but remember in Naruto Shippuden when Gaara asked the kages: “when did you all forsake yourselves?”
same vibes
I want to shout this at congress
@Sub0Kate YES
@boop4165not really
I definitely find it humorous for Dunc to say that knowing his own credentials
The sound designers deserve so much credit for what they created with the battle scene.
They did an incredible job of having us experience it through Duncan. Showing the chaos and how messy the fighting is, but not being able to see everything. Finally the moment where the sound is muffled and you can hear the first "tell him" and then "TELL HIM!" gave me real chills.
Exactly what I've been saying, sound design is almost everything, makes it insanely immersive, and this show was phenomenal at it!
For real, hits from Aerion's flail and ESPECIALLY Maekar's mace, you can feel hot brutal and dirty knightly combat truly is
Dunc put 1 into intelligence and 10 into endurance
and at least 6 into wisdom
Man leveled the hell out of Vigour and Luck as well
My first Nord character in Skyrim xD
Haha! Straight outta Flea Bottom
Just wait till he starts maxing out his charisma stats as he levels up.
Ser Duncan "I didn't hear no bell" The Tall
Aerion certainly heard the bell a few times :D
Ser Duncan "I can do this all day" The Tall.
Ser dunk, Aw shit here we go again, the tall.
@youtubespag no that was aerion when dunk got up. he had this look on his face like "man will you PLEASE fuck off?"
"I thought this was the Seven Kingdoms"
"I will take Ser Duncan's side" plucked at a heart string that had been dormant in me for quite some time. Baelor the Based may not have been long for this series, but by the seven his impact was enormous.
The Bobby B Effect at work
Baelor the Based!
shame that it was ADRed
Just realized it's basically the 'On your left' of Westerosi stories and you know what, that's totally fine. Baelor will forever be the coolest royal in the GoT IP.
It had the same feel as when Oberyn told Tyrion that he would be his champion.
the part where duncan clouts aerion's head with his meaty paw felt like his entire log of an arm concussed the dragon's noggin
Yeee
That bear paw swipe was my favorite.
What did the five fingers say to the face?!
I came to comment that the moment Dunc simply slaps Aerion with his bare hand was absolutely badass
*The* Ear-clout of the Seven Kingdoms
Not only was Ser Arlan goated for saving Dunc, his squire/nephew had died in the recent battle. Man was drinking, heaving, and grieving, and still protected Dunc. Dude was a freaking HAUS.
Probably thought of his nephew dying in that moment and couldn’t bare that happening to another kid
@c@costrodrockou hear his voice crack, the actor's delivery was the perfect mix of despair and drunk
@valance10yup absolutely watched that ish it cracked me in half - of course hes complicated he probably wasnt a true knight himself but i guess this is all about having that inside you all along without question ser arlan killed many people to protect others
oblivion music hits so hard
Oh hey, you’re finally awake…
@jip5889thats Skyrim you nwah not oblivion
Im legit playing it right now and was tripping like why is the music playing 😂
Skyrim
@jip5889
wrong game
Nahh the Alt shift shoutout is immediately a like and subscribe in my book.
Good taste lad.
Came here to see if anyone else watched him. Glad im in good company
That guy is a fraud, watch his better cousin alt schwift x
@senrogas387I will not accept Shift slander, Shwift is a loose cannon… and if I’m being honest, insane. I wouldn’t trust him with a ten foot pike
lel this is a must to do list after watched the true knight, sir videogamedunked
@LlamaF00D27that's the joke
Aren't we gonna talk about Raymun popping off literally minutes after being knighted? Bro is the MVP no doubt
Rookie of the year for sure
Surely he took a big W
Raymundo the kingly soul who deserved the love of a good woman, whore or not.
OMG! I didn't even catch that the horse moved because it was Aegged on before Dunk actually broke out of his fear... good catch.
Me either. That’s brilliant.
ha ha aegged on. nice
Aegged on
I see what you did there
Were you not paying attention?😂
@DazHotep6EQUJ5 oh wow you're so attentive it's so admirable wow you're so cool
Shut the fuck up dickhead
I feel that many people overlook the religious aspect of the trial by seven by because it was so subtly done. Don't forget how Baelor rigged it by going against guards sworn to protect him. You could argue the "gods" didn't appreciate the loophole and punished him for it.
@aciszen940True but of Baelor hadn't stepped in, Dunk would have been punished by losing a hand and a foot at the minimum.
@aciszen940 Why didn't they punish the apple dude who tricked Duncan and then switched to the other side? Lame ass gods
@CenturionMariusViniciusThey are lame. If they were fair, none of these events should've even occurred.
I agree that there was divine intervention, though I don't believe the Seven had anything to do with it.
To clarify: I don't believe any of the religions in the world of Ice and Fire are "correct."

This show made me finally want to get into the GoT universe. It's so cool.
Start with the book then. Don’t waste your time on Got show. Or at least drop it after 4th season for your sake(and still read from start since earlier seasons also have drastic changes for the worse). Asoiaf is peak

I've watched the show up to S5 but never really bothered with the books because I, very embarassingly admit, thought that the show was just similar to the books. Not very far off, I thought. . .I was HELLA dead wrong xdd
GOT is still worth your time, even if the last season is bad. The first 4-5 seasons of GOT is better than any show out there
Read the books then. 👍👍👍👍👍
Dunk the Lunk, thick as a castle wall and slow as an aurochs.
Thick as a castle wall and just as tough.
All hail Ser Baelor the Based, the prince who remembered his vows.
The king who never was.
Hail, the victorious dead.
That truly is the curse of the Targaryen house, constantly they have truly great men who wouldve made wonderful kings and brought peace and prosperity to their people, only for them to die before getting the chance to take their seat upon the throne, and one of the shittier or more mad Targaryens end up sitting there instead.
HAIL THE VICTORIOUS DEAD
*HAIL!* 🍺
Pr stunt
HAIL!🍺
Honor to your vows (Baelor) vs honor to your family (Maekar)
Both are honorable but diametrically opposed in certain situations (trial x 7)
Yes!! Family v honor, which would you choose?
@JCPatrick Family. Bealor is a goat still though.
"Why? What am I to them?"
"A knight who remembered his vows."
Dunk is just a good fucking dude. You immediately respect him and love him. On top of being a simpleton his principles are simple. There’s no gray area. The show plucked my heartstrings several times.
Same as this guy i know enough of GOT to get it
But this is it man this is the MAGNUM OPUS
i am grieving for baelor like a real person lmao
Holy spoiler
@cyberkoala2568 If someone has that spoiled for them because they chose to watch this video and scrolled through the comments they only have themselves to blame.
@DazHotep6EQUJ5yeah that’s what I figured as well, this video is a post watch review
Don't grieve for Baelor for he will return as the minister of magic in Harry Potter next year
@wesleycorneliusfr?
Then the fact that Dunk and Aerions fight ends in the mud with grappling and Aerion trying to get his dagger into the gaps, perfection.
I don't think Dunc is dumb, he is just inexperienced and honest in a cynical world built on lies.
Yeah. It annoys me when people think that dunk is Stupid. He’s not he’s just straight forward.
It's in his title. He stands Tall in a world of smoke and mirrors. It's impossible to not see him for who he is.
Naive might be a better description for Dunc. Once he experiences an event, it stays with him. 😎
Shire music was perfect
I felt personally attacked by the Alt Shift X bit LMAO
So true tho, I've seen their videos dozens of times, I love them
Same, also unironically just binged watched till episode 5 just to finish this video
If you want the same guy in a bit
more entertaining way look up alt schwift X, youll love it :D
@joramsim What do you mean "same guy"?
@joramsimuhhhhh that's his evil cousin
@joramsimyou mean his blackfyre bastardborn step-gruncle alt schwift x?
0:40 damn cant believe I caught a stray so early
Ball knows ball
AKOTSK with the Oblivion TES theme is something I never knew I needed until that intro
"In the name of the mother, leave that boy be!"
When Aerion got a clout in the ear is hands down my favorite scene
Baelor the *Based.* Of all the times I've heard or seen that term used, this one definitely fits the best.
I just recognized that baelor kinda struggle to take his helmet off when announced he was on dunks side wow foreshadowing the helmet being small
ohhh does it need to be bigger to prevent injuries like that?
@studiogreyfox1226Yup, a properly fitting helmet needs to sit a bit looser, so that the impact going to the padding instead of directly to the part of your skull that was hit
That helmet wasn't his, he borrowed it so he could fight, it just show his character, he put on a borrowed armor, just so he could do the right thing in that moment
@viniciusaraujolago even sadder is that the armor he borrowed is his son's, valarr's, which is why it's too small for him. valarr's tragic scene in the last episode where he questions how many fathers have died in their son's armor... phew. just so sad.
Fucking characters you can actually root for. Very rare nowadays.
And almost no wokeness, that's like impossible to find in big productions
@ryankerins361grrm has stated he's a liberal and a feminist. Akotsk is a story critiquing power and the upper class on their superiority complex and oppression, how lower classes suffer below them. It's woke.
@r@ryankerins361’s REAL WOKE, not fake Woke. There were woman and trans on the writing staff. Fake Woke in stories feels contrived. That’s Fake Woke by male writers trying to PROOVE they are woke rather than just NOT being bigoted D’s. This show is MORE WOKE because the women are real people as are all the men of every CLASS.
You can literally feel the weight of the words, “I will take Ser Duncan’s side”. It is my new favourite quote alongside “I’m your huckleberry “.
Baelor's statement tells the world that his nephew's claim was rubbish. 👍👍
"IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER!" from Ser Arlan alongside Oblivion music is something I didn't know I needed. Thank you.
This show brings back old school, base level, visceral, warrior spirit.
Bro, I’m totally in
Great summary.
1:03 kinda sounds like Henry of Skalitz
😂
Henry would solo this universe he is an eldritch horror.
They definitely have a similar vibe
Unfortunately, Aerion was not gelded by Dunk the Hunk, though he came close.
He may not have been literally gelded but his ego certainly was.
"Noblesse oblige" pretty much sums up Baelor.
That sandwich dunk made does look good though FR 😅
The only comment that truly caught my eye
"Honour is dead, i will see what i can do." 3:11
Words of Radiance.
Unironically the best moment in the Stormlight Archive. A moment of pressing on into what should be an impossible task motivated by sheer sense of duty, resolve, and refusal to capitulate.
Kaladin Stormblessed mentioned!!!!
Speak Again the Ancient Oaths, Radiant
Is...is that stormlight archives? Other people read?😂
The editing of this video is just phenomenal!
Who else was waiting for the song 'See you again' to start playing when Ser Arlan veered to left and Dunk and Egg kept going straight at the end😄
The modern music choices were just about that corny that I believe they would do that
@Gridironwarplans modern indeed, corny they didn't feel
@danielpistolait did to me but I’m glad you liked it
6:57 love every time that LoTR shire theme comes in
Your use of Skyrim and Red Dead 2 music is chef’s kiss.
He used the theme from Dying Light too.
Altshiftx reference is crazy
Baelor’s death still causes me to rub the back of my head
Just finished the final episode - what a fucking series, great review here too - music choices in this was sick - resi 7 theme hit
In Ser Duncans speech of being a Knight, with honor and him asking if there were any true Knights, it awoke something within me to stand. When Ser Baelor joined Dunk's side, I was so shook. Looking forward to the rest of the adaptations.
when that music kicked in after daeron said i’ll join ser duncan was so fire
His name was Baelor Targaryen, Daeron is the drunk dragon dreaming one.
That speech is up there with Aragorn’s speech at the Black Gate
I heard Dying Light music
5:00 This man also recognizes peak.
THATS the game where it’s from. I heard it and immediately had feelings of nostalgia but couldn’t place which game it was from. Man… what a game.
This show did for me what Superman 2025 did.
Being a good person is always worth it.
1:53
TREASON!!!
Thou mustn't desicrate the song.
KCD the show. The Oblivion and Read Dead Music over the footage just drives it home for me
I love how he says he will send the maestor "after he is done tending to my brother", even with the injuries he obtained (which he may obviously be oblivous to), he still wants his brother and then Duncan to be tended to before himself.

"Prince Aerion Targaryen could vanquish Ser Duncan the Tall... But NOT Dunk of Flea Bottom!"
*Medieval version of Punk Rocker playing in the background*
why does no one seem to realize that the cut to the upper thigh is a real world fatal strike at a weak point in armor...that was Dunk actually remembering valid training it wasn't about gelding the prince.
He hit him with the cross guard which is a legit technique but wouldn't kill him
Sir Duncan the Tall! Thick as a castle wall!
This series did what I did not think was possible
Teach you that in a cynical world like Game of Thrones you still want to be the chivalrous and the noble
I guess at the end of the day George RR Martin is really a great author
0:41 I feel so called out
Theme-wise, I feel like Dunk is the Superman of GoT
To have a debut season with zero stinkers, an arguable 10/10 episode and doing so while only having 6 30-40 minutes at a time is so impressive. Strongest first season ever

The Skyrim music is touching my soul
This one of the few shows that I can actually enjoy re-watching almost immediately. I plan on binge watching the show tomorrow. I wish the episodes were a bit longer but other than that, the show is amazing.
Its basically a 5 hour movie and it was damn good
"Why watch when I can read, and by read I mean watch Alt Shift X videos" LOL SO INCREDIBLY REAL
THE ALT SHFIT X SHIT HIT WAY TO CLOSE
14:02 This revaltion is just the chefs kiss on an already brillaint series. Wow!
I just listened to every single great movie and video game soundtrack ever in one RUclips video

extremely relevant theme…
This show was a gladiator level masterpiece
The intro is pure bliss! 😭😭
The shire theme is nice and fitting for Dunc and Egg
I think the song is called "In Dreams" but I could be very wrong in my memory
Dunk's "are you not entertained?"
the first 30 seconds go so hard
@ 3:06 that meme usage....
I watch for the guy that spit snot in the jar ep 1
If I had to choose to kill that dude or Hitler I’d still choose that fucker.
Plummer is funny asf
@xeno9671and he’s a pretty solid guy too. He even tells dunk that he doesn’t want to have this conversation when he’s talking about the rigged joust and is trying to look out for him when he’s eavesdropping
Secunda with medieval visuals just hits the spot
It was a very refreshing departure from the crap we have had
the "epic" can be cool, but really its hard to do the epic well on mass I think that is what is missed ... the epic is most "cool" and impactful when its minimal, Lord of the Rings is a great example of that ... there where some seriously epic scenes in it ... but they where sparing and far between most of the show was grounded even for the very definition of high fantasy. Epic works, when its an accent mark over a grounded story ... not when its all you get
Duncan is your D&D character that has no stats but keeps rolling nat 20's in everything they do.
Music and editing goes hard
that lip quiver , hes acting but them emotions are real af
the gt4 music. I see you.

🕺
I appreciate you bro, opened my eyes to many payoffs I did not see. Like Ser Lyonel Baratheon knighting Raymun was the exact same shot as Ser Arlan shrugging.. mainly because Dunk was never knighted! and having Dunk put his sword between Aerion's legs. The barking of both Dunk and Egg was an obvious pay off but still, soo many of these scenes just made sense
Just the breakfast sandwich alone sold me on this show. 😅
When that game of thrones theme kicked in episode 4 they were like “yup you’re watching peak game of thrones again”. I got goosebumps from that, (I just started watching game of thrones after I finished a knight of the seven/nine kingdoms)
They were also like "It was all fun and jokes. But this is Westeros, so please prepare for Trauma now, thanks." XD
It hits so much harder because I reckon we all believed at that point the show had actually earned it. Whereas the usage at the start was done for the sake of subversion the usage of the theme in episode 5 was perfectly placed, used when the show actually peaked.
The Warner Bros. logo appearing when Paramount was mentioned had me floored 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:53 i hate you saying paramount and putting WB on screen 😂
How did he know.
Same owner these days. They also own cbs, soon to be cnn, soon to be Netflix. Yea we are cooked
The Alt Shit X reference hit very close to home and I feel personally attacked 😅
I love how you use so many game soundtracks I can’t even name them all. Loved the video
"Concerning Hobbits" needle drop fire
Damn that show was so good. So much better than HOTD
I'm so with you fella, when Baelor joins the 6 and the theme tune kicks in..... peak tv!!
It all began with OG oldboy
@Lgg130 oh I haven't watched the old boy but heard about it many times, would definitely watch sometime.
The Oblivion opening 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I NEED TO WATCH
