Thank you for this. Ive' been trying to figure out how to get my info in a usable format. You used to be able to go in your account and download prior transactions. It is ridiculous that this is the process now.

Another website had a link to download all purchase amounts by year. That link no longer works. I called Amazon to see if they have a better method and they told me that Amazon removed that method for privacy rights. Ugh

You go to "Account info" and then "Request Your Information", and click submit. That's it. Saved you two and half minutes. of video.

Thank you!! The problem is that when you get back the order history, there's a file for literally every purchase, not a compilation in one file like you could do before 2023. This is STILL far inferior! Why is Amazon making it hard to get a report on expenditures in a year?

Would have been better if indicated which file has the orders as there are dozens of files. It is "Retail.Order.History.1". It took several days after my request to recieve the full .zip file. It was 1G zipped.
Yeah maybe I can make a script to organize things for people but I just need examples

update: An error is displayed once you receive the email to download. This can be attributed to their sneaky tactics since the class action suit

How do they know what year you're requesting, though?
You just requesting it gets all of it
Also, when you go to your account and then go to your orders. Right above the date of your first order placed is a box showing automatically the past 3 months. You can click on that box and change it to the years you want. I just saw this filter and now I can check all my years orders easily. Maybe you can make another video and show this.

Hi it was helpful, but wasted my time, because what I need is one long itemized list, statingwhat I bought. THis method gave me hundreds of documents which would be way too time consuming to open each one individually. sigh, why can't I find this info
amazon wont get that for you as far as I know but what you can do since they are CSVs is just consolidate them via a few lines of code. takes maybe 10min with Bing ai and you will have it solved.

If it’s included in the cvs you could hire someone to filter it down for you. I guess I could make a program for someone to do that

The orders option is gone. Looks like you have to ask for ALL of your data. This used to be so easy.

Can’t remember I think it used some kind of titling of the original purchased product so yeah but with Amazon naming conventions it’s kinda annoying
Praying this works! My husband's DB attorney is making me print every purchase from 2017 - 2024. It won't change the outcome of the divorce, but it will allow the attorney to bill the hell out of my husband for "document review" he's never going to even do.

How to know order history
If the ordered account is deleted
Ooof I don’t know that one. You may want to contact customer support for that as a feted account may still be in their system but they would have to recover and such.
