Definitely Rufus Taylor on drums. Rufus was Taylor Hawkins godson. Justin & Rufus both played at the tribute concert. Rock and roll just isn’t as popular on the pop charts. That’s the “rock is dead” which has been the question the rockers get in interviews.
It's nice to see a reaction by someone who actually gets The Darkness and when the person has bothered to find out about them. The Darkness are one of the best bands I've seen live, and I've seen Queen and Santana and The Who and... As well as having Roger Taylor's son, Rufus, in the band, Brian May joined them on stage on the night I saw them - so a double treat! I so want to see them again.
Thanks! We love The Darkness around here. We actually filmed a matchup between their original music video of "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" and compared it to the label-produced version that will be out in two weeks. Make sure you're subbed to the channel so you can see when it publishes, and let us know what you think.
I am so pleased to see more coverage of The Darkness and Justin Hawkins! I will subscribe in the hope of more to follow. May I recommend a reaction to Bald, from their 2005 album, One Way Ticket To Hell... And Back, and Open Fire, from 2015's Last Of Our Kind? Two more amazing The Darkness songs!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this one! And we do bounce around with our reactions. We produce a T.V. show here in Austin, so we're actually months ahead in filming, so quickly taking requests can sometimes be difficult. But I'll put those two on our list to cover in the future! And I promise you 100%, we'll return to The Darkness. I'm a huge fan of theirs, seen them in concert several times, and I love Justin's channel, so I guarantee we'll return to them. Thank you for commenting. I hope you check out some of our other content, too.
Thanks man! I love The Darkness. If you haven't seen it, we also reacted to their Christmas song to celebrate Christmas: ruclips.net/video/CyM2_IQLSZM/видео.html I hope you hit the subscribe button and stick around.
When people say rock is dead they are referring to guitar driven rock music with guitar solos like it used to be with bands like Led Zep , Aerosmuth , AC/DC , etc.
Oh I'm very well acquainted with the D. Seen'em live multiple times and even attended their FESTIVAL SUPREME in L.A. They rock my socks off. Except when Kyle quit the band. That was sad. But then he came back, so all was well.

OMG, Rufus looks so much like his dad did back in the heydays of Queen.

Brilliant
Omg… I love the reactions but I’m not sure whose I like better!! Love The Darkness!
UMMMMMMM. Moterheart is their latest. Nevertheless......thank you for preaching the gospel.

So cheesy but so fun you can't help but like it.
AAAAAA
That Marshall definitely went to 11 because it’s one better.
😂 But why don't they just make 10 the loudest?
@@LikeMindedLunatics one of my all time favorite movies.
I know! That movie is so damn funny. Ricky has that thing memorized. I think it's required for working musicians to know it backwards and forwards!
If you haven't checked out Tenecious D has bangers.
