Opened up for Acid Bath two times in the mid 90s. They had to be one of the coolest bands we ever met. Spent a few hours in a bar chilling with Daxx. Coolest dude ever. One of the most underrated bands EVER.

You son of a gun, OSSUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers brother, from NEPA, you guys are amazing, all my older friends from wilkes were all influenced by your band and I would later listen to your demos on youtube, you guys had some of the best vocals ever recorded, if you reform and or re-release those demos, woo, your cult status is EPIC.

Acid Bath had a huge impact on me as a musician in my early years. Every time I listen to those records I go back to that time and feel those riffs all over again. They wrote some good stuff and it was a shame how they lost Audie when they were blowing up. I completely understand and respect their decision to end it back then but I am overjoyed to hear them coming back. Fingers crossed for more shows.

Acid Bath is EPIC live. I lived in Lafayette during their formative years up until just after Pagan Terrorism Tactics was released. I moved back to Seattle and was so excited to see them, as they were opening for Godflesh. That is when tragedy transpired and they were forced to drop from the tour. I need to make it to Vegas.

In Seattle too. There is no way I can afford that show nor do I even want to go seeing the rest of the lineup and I can't stand the idea of Vegas. Sucks cause I have been wanting to see them, probably like you, since I was a teenager.
I assume you're a Wormwood and Black Noise Cannon fan?

Ive always loved Acid Bath seen goatwhore and dax live many times but i never got to see acid bath. I rarely met someone who knew acid bath throughout the yrs. I would turn so many people onto acid bath in countless states and places ive lived for over 20 yrs. Im just happy they are getting recognized

The answer is: who cares? They’re legendary and deserve more attention than they get. True pioneers.

Looking forward to this one. Somehow this band has always had a huge cult following. They were coming up big time in the 90s even though they were underground. I saw them at the Somber Reptile in Atlanta GA right around Paegen Terrorism Tactics. Like 5 or 6 people in whole audience.

Guys. We (‘AC+’Mortem) played this barnyard bbq gig where they opened for Us; EyeHateGod; Corrosion Of Conformity when they just had the one guy who changed their style of punk hardcore music into what We’re still doing after 44+ years. Doomsday Rock was influenced by Sabbath’s resurgence and specifically it’d been Pepper Keenan whom was THE pioneer of changing the genre’s culture in it becoming popular again. This had to be 1991-92 right after AC’s Morbid Florist was picked up by a major label. Love the cast. Keep it up! Sincerely, DJP Anal Cunt; Postmortem and Kilslug Sony; Earache 🇬🇧 Columbia and TAANG!! Records @ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED by copyright infringement laws worldwide via Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka soon to become America come the new year! Viva Le Trump Melvins had quite a lot more to do with it than most people think as well, but being on tour with both Corrosion and Voi Vod during this period? Pepper’s really just being modest about it all. We have toured with them for their Ep Technoracy in’87+ Dr. Know for their This Island Earth also.

I assumed the post Acid Bath albums on Rotten Records were due to some contractual obligation on their original deal. Goatwhore’s first 2 records (Sammy) and the Agents of Oblivion (Dax & Mike) album must have fulfilled a 5 album deal they signed?

great point...that very well could be the reason why they released those albums on the label...thanks for your insight/input!

Acid Bath always had a cult following. I'm 34 and I got into them in the early 2000's based on all my older peep's influence. They still have a cult following 3 decades later. I for one welcome our new swamp cult overlord.
