Thank you Johnny Cash for posting from heaven
He is a ghost rider
He not composing this, but is the better cover.
I thank Johny Cash for the music he gave us.
Johnny Cash would have chosen to go to hell for the same reason he dressed in black
@@caseco4979
Exactly right my friend, he didn't consider himself worthy. The older he became the more he felt the need for redemption and so that's why just like you said he dressed in black
I remember being 14 listening to this song in my granda's house and he explained the meaning behind the song, while pointing into the blue sky and it blew my little mind.
I told you not to tell this story tinker 😤
Thinker; What was his version of the meaning behind the song?
marcus is that you?
@@billmorris2613 His meaning was that in life we can commit great sins on earth without knowing it and the cowboy chasing the devil's heard needs to own his mistakes in order to stop running after horses he'll never catch. So own your mistakes and pay your due, or else you will be that cowboy chasing something you will never catch.
@@billmorris2613 it’s what could be your fate and judgement for your sins, you could be condemned to chase The Devil’s Herd for Eternity

Johnny will live forever.
Johnny Cash had such a fantastic voice missed by many but his music lives on.
Gracias Jonny cash desde el cielo ❤️🫂
there is no better version than the interpretation of Johnny Cash singing Ghost Rider in the sky. his own voice makes him beat the rhythm and the music is just blah cherry on the cake.
One of my Dad’s favorite songs. ❤❤❤
Well there comes a Time....when a Man does Come Around
Amanzing Song
Hearing this song. Bring tears to my eyes. Me with 7 others heard this song. It was 🌧️ raining. One morning. Cold, wet. Then a rolling thunder come by. We knew it was either the cows or the cowboys, giving chase. Then felt a wind go by. Nothing more said. That morning.
that was an indicator of The Devil’s Herd and The Riders , and a warning to you to change your ways and try to make things right, or you will join them for Eternity
@@JohnH20111 go scare someone else's children
One of my favorite renditions of this song. This is Johnny Cash at hit best
This is indeed GHOST RIDER's anthem
I think that Johnny Cash made this song more famous than the Artist that first sang this. Burl Ives was the first in about 1949 or there about, hard for me to choose what I like better as both Artists bring their own magic to this Great Song/Tune!
John, Australia.
I remember singing my girl to sleep with his one. She left me, but the Riders never will.
Amazing
Amazing song by the most amazing singer ever. RIP JOHN RCASH.
Unstoppable he is the true cowboy

@@adhilnawaz5668 yeah
Whooo thanks pugmaster
Riders on the storm was written literally 8 years before this one bro
@@paulos5818 Ghost Riders In The Sky was written in 1948 by Stan Jones and was recorded by many other artists (Burl Ives, Vaughn Monroe, and Frankie Laine) to name a few, long before Johnny Cash took it to the top of the charts in the summer of 1979.
This is THE VOICE not Frank Sinatra. Respect from Italy 🇮🇹

I'm a fan of Jonny Cash, Especially this song
Me and grandma who was like my father used to listen to this long time ago.
I like how Johnny updated the lyrics of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home", but keeps the song's tune intact.
Love this song. Legends never die.

why hasn't there been a western called ghost riders is beyond me. The songs lyrics could be easily made into a awesome western movie.
sadly this wasn´t used for red dead redemption. this would fit thematically for this game..

cool
I was never that into country music, and I'm still not. I also know that he died eighteen years ago. Still, I would give a redundant male body part to attend a Johnny Cash concert. I'll settle for adding this to my karaoke repertoire.
I had a girlfriend once tell me how much she hated Johnny Cash's music. So I dumped her. I keep a close watch on this heart of mine.
Did she say why?
🎵Amen. 💀🔪🥰🎶
Second!!!!
I feel like this song should have been a sound track to red dead redemption 2 instead of unshaken
Good music choice.
I prefer the Blues Brothers version. 👍

Johnny sounds good
But he doesn't beat vaugh Monroe
An old cowboy went ridin' out one dark and windy day
Upon a ridge he rested as he went along his way
When all at once a mighty herd of red eyed steers he saw
A ploughin' through the ragged skies and up a cloudy draw
Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel
Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky
He saw the riders coming hard, heard their mournful cry
Yippie-i-ay Yippie-i-oh
Ghost riders in
Ghost riders in the sky
Yippie-i-ay (Yippie-i-ay)
Yippie-i-oh (Yippie-i-oh)
Ghost riders in the sky
Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred, their shirts all soaked with sweat
They're ridin' hard to catch that herd but they ain't caught 'em yet
'Cause they've got to ride forever in the range up in the sky
On horses snorting fire. As they ride hard, hear them cry
Yippie-i-ay Yippie-i-oh
Ghost riders in
Ghost riders in the sky (in the sky)
Ghost riders in (the sky)
