No matter how much time has passed it still boggles my mind to see what these poor people had to endure and the Herculean task they had of cleaning up the aftermath. These people didn't just lose their homes but entire towns/cities, jobs, schools, agricultural land ruined by the seawater and other contaniments, not to mention loved ones. My heart still aches for what they had to go through and I pray they don't have to suffer anything like this again. I praise them for their strength and determination to continue moving forward despite such loss.

When you see the scattered debris on the tops of 3 story buildings THAT is the lasting images for me ..
Sure all the ground debris blocking everything for miles is the main attention grabber as they clear it with heavy machinery....
But when he zoomed in on distant,,, yet gotten to rooftops untouched since the waves hit.... Man. 3-4 story high rivers of ocean water is just why I'm addicted to watching these videos and learning/seeing all I can. (From near Chicago)
It's just frickin weird to imagine what had just happened . Insane.
And it wasn't just a "wave" of water.... It was the WHOLE sea level that pushed in you know... Not just a wave front like a surfer catches.... THE WHOLE DAMN SEA for hundreds/thousands of miles running inland 40-50 high 😱😱😱😱
