Ms. E, look how far you have come over the past year! You’re Amazing! And dearly loved by Many! You are most definitely a light in a dark world! Love you MUCH Ms. E! 🤗
My husband and many others say I have the look. I’m pretty straight forward with what’s on my mind, both words and silence. After going through all my “stuff” today, this will be a great way to start using up those envelopes and papers. Yes, I remember doing the glue fingers, I think I’m the same age as you. It still gives my a thrill to peel it off the top of my Elmers glue bottle to this day. About a year ago I thought I could water down matte gel medium. I was peeling that off my fingers for days. No amount of scrubbing would get that off. We’re all here for you through the next couple of weeks. Take your time. Be gentle with yourself. Love you and big hugs.
That's a sweet fold out, Edith. I just don't have the imagination you do so I really appreciate your sharing. Take the time you need or share your life here when you need to. Our loads become lighter when it's shared. Lots of love for you, sweet lady.
Absolutely beautiful!❤ Your folio I pretty too!🥰 You are such an inspiration!❤ Thank you for being who you are!❤ You are a very talented and strong woman!❤
Thank you Miss E for everything you do on creating ephemera and journals especially what you have been through this year . 🦋🦩🇬🇧 It’s very understandable to be grieving you loved your husband dearly. You don’t have to apologise for being honest , A very big hug to you from me 🌸💐🌻🌸💐🌻🏴
Thank you so much for inspiring and motivating me! I love to craft along with you as you make me feel as if I'm home sitting across the craft table from you. My sweet and brave friend, our Lord has you and will see you through ...😍
Oh, E, my heart goes out to you. Life sure is hard sometimes. So sorry that you're now a member of the same "club" that I belong to as well. Those special dates will always be special- 23 years later, it seems slightly easier, in some years but in others, oddly, it's like my beloved passed yesterday. I've learned to be extra good to myself that time, concentrate on treasured memories and try to be w my loved ones who are here, creating more memories! Thinking of you & your family. ❤
Thank you for sharing with us and for being open with us. When I watch you on here I feel as though I’m am sitting and listen to a friend as she teaches me things and shares her talent with me. Thank you. You’ve taught me so many new things on here and I’m very thankful. And I am sorry for all that your going through. I’m sending prayers of comfort for you through these difficult times.
Another great project, thank you. You have right to feel the way your feeling, its only been a year. your human Edith, you are very much appreciated in crafting world, you will NEVER be alone, GOD bless.
Lady E, I just love the junk mail fold out journal your so talented..😁. Also had some good laughs too...yes I remember the glue fun putting it on my hands getting all messy 😄
Yes I played with the glue also. An yes these kids today have no respect. You know half the parents do not either. I love this beautiful creation of yours. It is so fun I can't wait to make one for my journal. Thank you Mrs. E and God Bless you. I pray God gives you comfort this month and will ease your mind and Soul. Love and hugs.
I also put glue on my hands, yes it was fun. I love your ideas you give me inspiration every day. You have come so far since you lost your dear husband and I pray that you find peace. Love you Ms. E.
The flipout is very cute. I love that. I have glue on my hands all the time. The glue I use are running out more than you can use. Have a splendid day. GOD bless. Bye bye
I use this quite often I like the pockets and also made a journal from Rachel I love your videos I love your realness . I understand about your special man. . Your dear husband in October I'll have 9 years of being lonely. It gets a little easier but when you love someone it never goes away. Praying for you. Thanks for what you do for all of us.
Yes Mrs E ❤ it was so fun peeling the dried glue off my hands ... I believe I used it more for that than paper 😂 I too miss the respect in some of today's generation that we were thought. Thanks for another inspiring video.
Love the final outcome. I confess I was working on a puzzle and listening to your chat and cecking every little while to see the progress. Now I will go back and watch again. I can totally feel you pain and loss as I have personally walked in your shoes with a husband ( my first) and a child. It never goes away. Bless you dear.
I love this new addition to a junk journal. Cannot wait to make one. We used to make book marks out of Elmer's glue as well. We would color the top of our pencil box with markers the squeeze glue in and wait agonizingly days for it to dry and peel out our awesome book mark.
I can remember using the Elmers glue that way. And I will be thinking of you and the family this month. I enjoy watching you craft and the stories you tell. Keep your head held high as you know God is with you always. God Bless.
Yes, the anniversaries are especially hard. Take your time and remember the love and good times. One of my favorite times is playing with my Elmers Glue too. We use to have contests on who could get the biggest piece off out finger! lol! Hugs!
Oh yes I remember putting glue on my hands. And yes we had a healthy respect for our elder! I’m so glad to hear you are feeling better. Thank you for sharing this idea with us. It is very cute! ❤️🦋
Yes! We pasted our fingers, and our lips! LOL. We also eat the paste glue, remember, with the stick in the lid? 😂 ohhh goodness, I got a good laugh with this memory. I LOVE this project! But, the thing I love most is how you just come up with this and save it to do on video, with us. You're really something, Ms E, and I love ya for it. You make my day.
Enjoyed your video so much. We played with the glue too. You should feel free to share your feelings with us. We have all had or are having bad times. It is healthy to free your mind of your feelings. The firsts are alway hard on a person. Heartfelt hugs and prayers to you.
Please know that you can feel sad. It's ok to grieve your husband. Know, that you are in my prayers. My mom passed three years ago and there are days that I want to pick up the phone and just talk to her. 😊. Time seems to pass slowly when we are grieving. This is a cute addition to a journal. I think all add some journal pages in the middle fold. Thanks for all you have taught me.
When I was in grade school, I would make a small puddle of Elmer's glue inside my metal desk and let it dry. Then, I would cut out nail shapes and make my own fake nails. I would then use a bit of glue to stick them onto my nail bed, or sometimes just a bit of water worked to stick them on. Funny, you saying that brought back that memory.
they say that time heals all wounds but not necessarily the wounds of the heart...I miss my sweetie as much today as I did a year and a half ago...big hugs!
I feel for you Mrs E I lost my husband five years ago, I have found the only thing that has kept me sane is to make journals, knit and sew so long I am occupied with my crafts I can cope with missing him. I was greatly Blessed with being married to the most wonderful man for 52 years. You are doing a wonderful job and I love watching your videos and listening to you chat about yourself and your life, you are so open and honest which makes a refreshing change. X
Bless your sweet heart!! I’m so sorry about your husband. I say let it out and keep doing the things you love. I made my first journal while my husband was having his 2nd open heart surgery. That’s how I coped and was close by for help if needed. I love this idea, you did an amazing job!! ❤
So glad you shared this idea, I always struggle with what to do with all these junk mail envelopes I have. Thank you for sharing too your trials, we all have them and sometimes the best remedy is to share those struggles with others. Not that it helps at this minute, but over time the pain does get less. I have lost so many family members (Mom, Dad, and 4 siblings) all from Cancer so I do understand. God bless you and continue to shine your light onto others. Love and hugs from across the miles ❣
This is a great way to use our scraps and junk mail envelopes, and it's so pretty. I sometimes make thing on the fly. I used to put glue on my hands and peel it off, too. I agree that kids today do not respect authority anymore. My Mama would have gotten a switch and tore my backside up if I got in trouble at school or anywhere else, especially if I had been disrespectful. Her rules were clear, and so was her punishment for bad behavior. I wasn't stupid enough to test her, either! 😅
Congratulations on the 100 thousand subscribers. Life is real Ms. E, I was looking for some ideas for some of my junk mail envelopes. Love thos idea. ❤ I constantly put glue on my hands and pealed it off all the time and got in trouble too, she would draw a circle on the chalk board and you had to stand there with your nose in that circle, of course she drew it taller than you were so you were on your toes, in front of the class. 😂
I was forced to be that way when I was young, and let me promise you that showing how you feel is the better, and certainly the more honest, way to be. You do you, E. We LOVE you!!
Hi Edith. It's Tuesday here as I'm watching you. I am also heading for the dentist on Friday. I was lucky enough to find a whole box of these envelopes at an Op shop or thrift store as you call them so I have plenty to play with. So glad you're feeling better. 💖🐨
I love this junk mail flip out envelopes, it's such a great idea! I remember the days of putting glue on my fingers and peeling it off. Times sure have changed from back then hasn't it? Much simpler days. I hope this month goes better for you Ms E.
❤This is so lovely! ❤... Ps I'm in the UK & had a brill weekend ( camping with my best friend Tracy)! We were so lucky as had two perfect hot days, then returned just before the heavy rain & thunderstorms started. Lol!❤😂.. Xx ps hope you're well hun & thank you for all you do to inspire us too xx
I think it is very helpful to others that you are open about the grieving process. The more understanding people have about it, the more they will know how to support people in their lives who are grieving. I am nearing the 2nd anniversary of my husband's death so I understand what you are feeling. Your openness and easy manner is what drew me to your channel. I like this project. I love how you recycle items and make something beautiful from them. Thank you.
Trying to catch up with all your videos, you’re fantastic. I’m new at this I usually and I enjoy learning your techniques. I listen to your testimony about your husband. I am so sorry you went thru this. But you are amazing and strong, may God bless you richly.
This is a wonderful idea, Ms. E! I am working on a tall journal, and I think this will work really well :) Thank you for this tutorial and for taking the time to share your ideas with us ❤
Hi Miss E, well first off the insert is great and doable for us layman. Yes I put Elmers glue on my hands as a kid, I had to get it all off before I got home from school or I was in “Big” trouble. Sad to say it hasn’t gotten easier, but I’ve had to learn to continue without him. I have you in my heart and prayers. See you in the next video 👍❤️
Hello Mrs E🤗yessss I remember a couple of years back my students in 5th grade had that thing going on of putting glue on all their hand and then waiting for it to dry up just to try to full it all off in one piece 😉 blessings 💕
Edith, you don’t need to ask us to be patient, we will always be here so you talk away about your feelings and situation. I love using junk mail envelopes to make projects. I adore this one. Turned out beautiful. On my list. Be well, be safe, 🙏, TYFS
Definitely played with Elmers Glue. We would make our own dice out of making it a cube. Funny!! Forgot all about that. Thank you for the chuckle!! 😂
A great idea to use up all those junk mail envelopes!
Thank you so much for inspiring and motivating me! I love to craft along with you as you make me feel as if I'm home sitting across the craft table from you. My sweet and brave friend, our Lord has you and will see you through ...😍

Yes! to the Elmer's Glue in Grade School! And Yes to the respect! 🙃 Enjoyed your journal!
Always did that with Elmer’s glue!
We always filled the pencil tray in our desk then peel it off and fling it around like a rope. 😂

Very interesting I’m gathering the papers to put a book together so I might try it in My New book❤
We use to put on the ruler and when it dry we made fake nails with glue. That is an awesome way to make a page with pockets thank you.😊
Fabulous Flip Out to add to our journals!!! Wonderful ideas of using up our envelopes to make beautiful flip outs. Thanks E! Take Care ❤
Elmer's tasted good too! Lol 😂
Hi Mrs. E. Hope you have had a good day.
Thanks for the beautiful project inspiration. I too grew up putting glue on my palms and fingers to make a full hand. haha Teresa in AZ
Good old Elmer’s Glue…. Yup! 😊
Hello Mrs E🤗yessss I remember a couple of years back my students in 5th grade had that thing going on of putting glue on all their hand and then waiting for it to dry up just to try to full it all off in one piece 😉 blessings 💕

Wonderful tutorial! Thank you.
Love this. Thanks for the inspiration!
Edith, you don’t need to ask us to be patient, we will always be here so you talk away about your feelings and situation. I’m sure most of us have these issues too and to hear you talk about yours helps me/us in ways to know that we are not alone. ❤. It’s always good to talk but if you need to take away for yourself then you have to do that.. As I always say “it’s good to talk” and “always look after number one”.
On today’s video, I love this idea. Will definitely have a go at this one.
Take care lovely lady 🥰🥰❤️
Thank you for this video. I will definitely make this.
