actually the last notes in the melody triggers an emotional impact. as with the bass also sliding along the melody. its a producer trick to make people like and "feel" the music even more. I got emotional myself first time i heard this

+Philip Støhle Thats how you perceive it, but not really a producer trick. Melodies are taken very differently by everyone, so there is no trick like this, I as producer just can assure you that we put down the melodies like we do feel they sound best, and really depending on the invidiual the reaction can range from intense feelings to just being caught by the melody or whatever, it depends on what you personally connect to that melody what creates the feelings ;)
We can stir in memories though, recreate nostalgic feels and make you feel a certain way, but in the end it still is up to you how you take this.
Thats why for instance I can find songs like the Pitcher - Strange Love really makes me feel relaxed, but if I ask my girlfriend she would probably feel like it dancing and being excited :P
