I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many overlords die in a game as this one.
What a ridiculously epic game! First time I’ve seen someone long-transport-mining. Not sure what Shinee’s strategy was, was he expecting Scan to get tired and give up? Scan never gives up and that’s one of the best things about him as a player.
Yeah endurance is one way to win a battle!!
I feel like most korean players never quit.

I admire you for doing these commentaries while still juggling the responsibilities of being a dad. This brings back many fond memories of playing this in college during the early 2000s with my buddy at the time. Good times. I have two young boys (7 and 9), but they're very into Roblox, it's hard to pry them away from that haha.
It is scary when you say SC2 is old. I'm still waiting for it to be released.

The story in SC2 at least was good and concluded well.
Scan Is the most creative terran played i've seen.
And the most stoic imo, his resolve is unmatched! I so want him to become a champion one day.
It is always nice to see wraiths in actions.
I'm surprised we don't see them more in TvP and TvZ... sniping overlords and observers for the cloaked attacks.
That was beyond epic ... it was cinematic. Zerg baiting the Terrans to come end the misery of their infested comrades. The Terrans eventually able to fight the Zerg to a stalemate and starve them out until they're forced to eat their own drones for a failed last ditch sortie. That defiler is the hero on the Zerg side. And there's a probably a wraith hero in there on the Terran side ... probably the one that took out an overlord carrying an ultralisk or something.
Best brood war game I've ever seen. A rare gem here!

That play from shinee at 52 mins, where he launched a massive attack just so he could sneak by all his drones without them being targeted was the most clutch play ever, even though he went on to eventually lose.

My dad and older brother got me into StarCraft in 2012, when I was 9 years old. 3 Years later I taught my younger cousin when he was 10, I was 12. The games with my Family are some my fondest gaming memories ❤

Somewhere out there Artosis has a tear and a smile for his pal Scan and his second most hated ladder opponent Shinee. All seriousness, hate Shinee for him as a person but as a player he brought it while offracing. What a great game!
Most of the things you read online about shinee is gossip. The pro's like him.

Epic game for sure. What's sad is that the Zerg was the underdog the entire game and then ended up losing just as expected. :(

That was a really GG, but man that Zerg made so many dukb moves lol I was like yelling at my screen. The Zerg had so many opportunities to beat Scan.. and that's saying a lot cuz Scan is REALLY good lol

Something i've wondered about but never seen sounds amazingly broken.. What if a Terran player matrixed a vulture and then irradiated it into a Zerg mineral line?
That would be a cool move for sure.
Honestly.. I haven't flip flopped on my prediction on who is going to win so much in one game in a real long time. This game needs to be tagged even higher than epic.
I feel like a battle cruiser transition around 30 min. would have gone well.

That game was weird but I do think that those queens were cost efficient. Even though the queens didn't win they made it close. Shiny should've built more hydras at the end of the game rather than mutas. Double EPIC tag game from me for sure.

I'd say it was his lack of variety in tactics and willingness to sacrifice workers for energy.
He needed to commit to the double queen nest. All queens with extra energy and broodling!

If you mine and spend 30% more resources than your opponent in a 60 minute game and you get close but still lose, then the game isn't really balanced now is it. Zerg is the most underpowered race
