Thank you. Something I will not at my age 78 and being unable to hike anymore. My husband and I always enjoyed the trails here in our beautiful state. Blessings 🙏🏻💕
So glad to see this great trail highlighted on your channel. It is a definite go-to when we have out of town guests who want to see a bit of the many things AZ has to offer…beach, riparian, water views, desert, and mountain vistas! Take care always😊
Just beautiful Glenn. I've been to Canyon Lake quite a few times and never checked out Saguaro Lake but now I want to. So many places to visit. Thanks for all the work you and Amy do on the videos, it is greatly appreciated. I believe Four Peaks got some snow last week. They are even more beautiful in the photographs I saw on FB. Can't wait to get there.
Great video. Thank you. Awesome video. I'll be sharing it. I go here often. If possible, this would be my second home. Don't get hung up on the Salt River verses Sagauro names you see on the google maps, etc... It's pretty much all Saguaro up to the dam for Canyon Lake regardless of map or designation names. There is much much more to Saguaro than what you can show from that particular trail. A boat is necessary. In fact everything you saw takes a whole new life on a boat... and it can be rented at the marina. No boats in Butcher Jones and Saguaro del Norte proper!!! Where your spur went there is a nesting Bald Eagle pair on the cliffs on the other side of the lake (south of shiprock.) Those two birds pretty much own that whole little canyon you walked on. Please avoid them if you see them. Forrest service is trying to re-establish more at the lake. Further on back, just out of view of your main trail is an actual place where you can camp, but is only accessable by boat. It has a vault toilet and dock. Below the dam is a Horse Ranch that has an out/back horse rides with a ride up onto the first mesa, with a gorgeous view of the main front lake side. Great hiking video. Thanks again.
It's wonderfully diverse here from saguaros to pine trees. Texas luckily has a lot of that going for it too. Granted, it's a weeee bit bigger and takes a little longer to see all the differences. 😅
Stunning scenery, a wonderful interlude. I feel like I could reach down and touch the cacti! And the crystal clear water at the end....well done! And Glenn's endurance is strengthening. I notice since I have none! 💫🌵✨
I just ordered a US Forest annual pass. Does that work there or do I need a state park pass? Thanks. I'm going out there in March and want to explore the remote areas.

Well, then allow us to virtually bring you along with our videos. We'd love the company! 😊

EXACTLY. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want. Definitely #1 on hikes to take people when they are visiting. 👍
Beautiful and to know it’s in our back yard. 😃
It sure is!
Beautiful hike! I always feel like I’m hiking right along with you, fantastic views and video footage. Thank you! 😊
Our pleasure! We love hearing that as we always want people to feel like they are right there too. 😊
That was beautiful. Some amazing drone shots also. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too! 😊
Thanks for the trip! I love Saguaro Lake; it's definitely in my top 3 of AZ lakes!
Same! Who'da thunk that Arizona has so many beautiful lakes, right? 😅
I remember how beautiful these lakes are- but I don’t believe we ever took that particular hike. Your drone views are incredible 😍
Honestly one of the better local area hikes we've done. And thank you! 😊
The scenery and views were spectacular. It was relaxing to watch. Great job on the editing and music accompaniment.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Nice scenery. Thanks for sharing! I’m adding this to my list.
Nice! Please do! It's a fantastic hike that really has it all. 😄
Beautiful! Looks like a great place to kayak too!
I imagine so too. We're loving the idea and hoping to make that happen one day. 😊
Beautiful video and wonderful narration! enjoyed the watch thoroughly.
Awesome! Thank you! 😊

Oh I bet Four Peaks looks AMAZING with the snow. LOVE seeing snow on all the peaks surrounding the valley. Just wished it lasted a bit longer. 😅
Ok thats it, im going this weekend!
AWESOME!! Have a great time! 😄

Oh, dang! Thanks for all the info! Makes us want to head back and check things out some more!
Arizona has so many awesome places! Makes this Texan a bit jealous!!

Many thanks! The drone makes easy work of things. 😅

I am not 100% on that one unfortunately. But, let’s see if one of our viewers confirms.
