This song is a winner in Christmas songtest: Jólalag Borgarbókasafnsins 2023. My kids, Torfhildur Hólm Jensdóttir and Vilhelm Örn Jensson, sang this song when they were 8 and 13 years old. Now they are 26 and 31 and both have their own kids. My friend from youth, Grétar Örvarsson, is a producer and plays all the instruments.
I wrote this song only for family and friends, but when I saw an ad about the contest recently, I gave it a shot. Thanks to everyone involved.
