Nice welding Job ! Hey Dan, I think you need a better trailer hitch set up that extends front to the back. Have him weld a pc. of square tubing the goes front to the back. Run it under the rebar so it make it stronger. You don't want to bend the new frame if you pull your loaded trailer full of wood. Nice Job.
Hi Dan - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. That welding is nearly as good as mine!! Those chipper blade reinforcements will double up as brilliant bottle openers for your badass beers. If needed you could easily make up removable low sides and tailgate for holding smaller items. That would turn your carryall into what we know as a Link Box over here.
I'd think about welding on a few side board hangers, left, right, and back. Then you could have a removable side board to box in whatever is carried, while keeping the deck unobstructed. You could put a 2x4 in the right/left to load it up with rounds.
Dan, way to repurpose that into a Carryall! Your Tree Service guy did an awesome job welding! This is way better than any carryall out there! It will last you a very long time. When pulling the trailer, you may want to have a brace connected from the hitch of Kalisi to.the Carryall so you are not using the 3 point to pull it. If you have POR15, i would use that on all your metal it keeps it from rusting. Now you can use the carryall.and carry us from Midwest Firewood Frenzy to the Back40 woodlot to keep.the night/weekend going!
Nice job on that carry all.....one thing, I would have put the tool boxes flush with the front edge of that upright. I can see logs hitting them as you high pile any wood.
Everything looks good except for one thing. Those supports for the top link are set so wide that you could easily bend that top link pin to where it may not want to come out. I would either move them closer or add a second set of supports closer in. The overall welds and design look good and should be plenty strong enough.
Suggestion I would make a bar that goes between your hitch on the tracker And the carryall so you're not Pauline on the 3 point just to firm it up just a suggestion James T North Carolina
All in all that's a nice carry-all. I agree with others that the tool boxes should be flush mounted. I would not have used the chipper knifes for any type of support.
Buddy that's a good carry all built looks like it's solid metal it looks like it'll serve you ever you want to do with it text me back buddy God bless your family
I like your new video this morning you did a really good job on your tractor that will work awesome for you I think you paint your tool boxes Orange good jop the moning buddy 🍺🍺
That is quite the fabrication! How many hours on the transformation? With all the right tools and a clear vision it probably went fairly fast. I love customizing and personalizing things. Those are some pro welds btw. Wow! Once painted that is really going to look sweet!
hi there well done . the only recommendation further down the line may be some kind of sides . You two came up with a real nice strong piece . Now we are all waiting on the testing video . OH now you hove to make it look pretty . good job john is it friday yet ?
Awwwsome carry ALL! how much time for rebuild? How is vision over the toolboxes? Great to have extra weight! Lookin forward to seeing carryALL In action!
You may as well re-use as much as you can,i hear steel prices are skyrocketing up to 75% higher than normal due to "supply covid" issues.Sounds like more corporate greed to me.Nice job.
Tim from Canada I guess my question for you is when you were going to have your big expose of the World gathering group I guess you really don’t give a care about the COVID-19 I guess in the USA you people there really don’t give a shit about your COVID-19 protocols... because here in Canada I can tell you right now if a gathering like that were to happen it would be rated by the police and the tickets would be sent out this is the way things work but I guess in the USA you people really don’t care about your health or COVID-19 just my suggestion.... I can see why the USA is in such a mess right now
Good skilled friends are hard to find! Buy him some beers!
Some nice welds there 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Glad you noted the welds. Something many of us took for granted.

Don't forget Jared Hildebrandt. His carry-all did good.
Hi Dan! Great and HD carry all you made there. Mine will be done in a week or two and I will have pictures for you. Many thanks again for your help!!!
Great to see you guys custom fab the new improved carryall with available materials. You'll enjoy it more than if you bought one pre-manufactured.
Looks great Dan! She's a beauty. Love the add-ons and versatility. I think it will be a big help for you out in the wood yard!

Very nice Shifty! Looks solid as a rock! That should serve you well my friend. Your tree service guy ran some nice looking beads on there!
Looking good . Keep it going . Building your implements the way you want . And recycling other stuff . Next project a log bucking grapple 👍.
Good job and much respect to men who fab. their own to meet their working needs!
Super impressed with the uphill welds! Excellent weld penetration !!! Kudos to who welded that up !
Nice! Love your enthusiasm
That's an awesome design, will work for alot of stuff. Looking for to the event and meeting everyone
That is a very very nice carry all. Nice welds and not real long like it was before. Hitch is a nice add on.
Dang it Shifty...I wish you would have built it quick hitch compatible. 🤦♂️ trust me you’ll be getting a hitch eventually!!

Wow that's built up!! You'll have to put wheelie bars on the back hahahaha!! That thing will definitely get some work done now! Stay safe my friend!!
Hahahaha....I should've put some wheels on the sides as wheelie bars.....LOL 😀 👍 🍻
He really did a great job for you.

Yup that will work right there.

Very nice, I would flip the center link though so that it will be easier to adjust, not so far down by the pto
Looks like a FANtastic set up !! Nice job 👍👏🪵🪓🔥😎
Looks great Dan!👍🏻👍🏻

Good night too you guys buddy 🍺🍺
Turned out really nice!
That looks great
turned out nice
REALLY LOOKS NICE
Thanks. 😀 👍 🍻
Looks like the 'old' design 3-point is CAT 2? Could be why the pins work on the inside and need to be smaller. Good job, I need the same for my Kioti.
very nice
Should be able to load your carryall down with a lot more weight if needed for more ballast ! Nice & beefy !
Well remodeled to your specs! Sure will outclass the original one and serve its purpose to the fullest in the wood yard!
God Bless
WWG1WGA
Looks good
I like the chipperknifes on that carry-all. some expensive pieces of iron ;-)
Nice 👍 I want one 😎

Nice job fabricating- can I RSVP two attendees to the Frenzy right hear. My wife and I will be traveling from Carbondale Illinois 👍👌

I need to learn how to weld.
Nice carry all just needs a little winch for pinching the legs on so you dont need to lift
That's a good idea....thanks for the feedback. 😀 👍 🍻
Shifty, if you had to guess, how much does it weight?
I'd say around 250 lbs maybe....not sure, all I know is when we lifted it into the back of my truck it was heavy! lol 😀 👍 🍻
no matter how heavy you think you build stuff you will keep asking more of it til it breaks hahaha.
Now paint it?
Hi Dan, What happened to the corny name caleesie ?
