    Nepotism is alive and well and always will be. But I think it would be a bad decision for him to go pro. He definitely needs more development in college. I mean averages 5 points/game. Really?

TJ Mcconnell is in the league on a playoff team coming of the bench as a 6th man right now. Look at his stats in college after several years and his weight and height and you can't say that Bronny doesn't deserve to be in the NBA. Just fact

    Comparing getting into the NBA to getting hooked up at some common job is comical. These are the best of the best in their fields in the world with a very limited number of positions available for it. Thats like saying some common dudes dad getting him a job as a brain surgeon when hes only qualified skill is to be a nurse.

      Yes they do what are you talking about? Typically when college or nba coaches hire their kids they put them in an assistant role that means nothing! There are only 300 something players in the nba! Only 60 young men work their butts off and get drafted! Bronny is taking a spot from people who deserve it! Coaching is not the same! Coaches bring on their own guys and can put them in entry level rolls and develop them!

      First of all....college NIL checks these day are bigger than seond round NBA contracts so if you are that good it makes sense to stay in college, next the second round where Bronny is projected most of those guys do not mkae it far anyway...so please stop being over the top smh

Miami Heat's Tyler Herro averaged 33 ppg as a more highly ranked college recruit than Bronny ever was....and did not make the McDonald's team. Now? You sit there and tell me he is "3 AND D" when he average 26 % from 3 point range at USC? And he "gives it all he has" on defense? And he "never acts cocky"? So WHAT? Those aren't reasons to be drafted.

    Forget nepotism. There are players drafted with his stats EVERY YEAR. Folks only talking because its LeBrons son. People have to realize 1. HE'S NOT GOING IN THE LOTTERY. 2. The nba draft is longer than the lottery. 3. Its not guaranteed he'll be drafted, he will at least go as a free agent.

      @@jeeperskreepers3967 it is Alabama it doesn’t matter who their coach is. You would have to have an extremely bad coach to run a program into the ground. I dont think ryan day that great of a coach but with the brand ohio state has at least maintains them as a top team every year. I think that is much of what kalen will be at alabama just the maintenance man. As far as dominating those days are over for alabama and for any team in the future.

    You know what? What if this young man is a hidden gem? Yes, he has a health scare, but if he gets to the NBA and develops correctly…then what? If I was Bronny, I would’ve taken the chance too!!! I know two people in the NBA now and what they both told me was…if you have a chance to get in the NBA, take the opportunity when it comes available, because you may not get another chance. I think he’s gonna be just fine going to the NBA in my personal opinion.

    The difference here with nepotism is that you can be trained to be good at that job. In the NBA you either got it or you don’t . The media hypes up bronny to be worthy of a draft pick based on his skills not his dad. Reality of it is bronny in any other circumstance wouldn’t even be worthy of a summer league spot yet people act like bronny is a first round pick

There are only 300 nba players who get nba roster spots! Only 60 hardworking kids each year get drafted! He is taking dreams away from other young men who deserve it! NBA is the elite of the elite!     I'm just glad the doctors cleared him to play. After that incredibly scary incident where he almost died on the court, I was worried that he'd never be able to touch a basketball again because of doctors' orders. Everything else seems secondary.
    And after what happened to Hank Gathers and Reggie Lewis, you *know* this panel of doctors wouldn't have cleared him if there was even a shadow of a doubt about him having another cardiac incident.

    Some people who have never played basketball or for multiple teams don’t know the importance of being able to play in the right system. USC wasn’t the right system for Bronny! Bronny will have to be aggressive in his play. He can shoot & if he can show consistency with that alone, he will be good!

      He averaged 10.8 ppg, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2 steals a game. Bronny averaged 4.8 ppg, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and .8 steals. Bronny’s stats aren’t even half as good as TJ’s and TJ was an average player.

    Bronny is a much more talented player than most are acknowledging.
    People are quick to forget he missed the off-season and almost died as well. It wasn't his fault USC fell apart.
    He will always be held to the standard of his dad.
    I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was a very solid nba player in a few years.
