Imagine that…. Ty gets on here and we have bruins talk in the first 30 seconds. No BS about vacations, flights what someone ate for their holiday dinner. Bruins talk what we’re here for

21:29 I really don’t think the Standings matter very much right now.
The Bruins are only 8 points better than the lowly Islanders, but they’re also only 8 Points behind one of the better teams in the Conference, the Hurricanes.
Right now, TEN of the Conference’s 16 teams are bottled-up between 55 and 45 Points.
There’s too many variables and too many games remaining, right now, to put much, if any, stock into predictive models for the postseason.

After the Ottawa debacle, maybe they should enlist sage advice from Harry (Sinden)…. At this point why not? 🐻

Not yet. Someday in the next year or two.

Potsy will eventually make a very good playmaking second line centerman who will never be a big goal scorer.

You missed the mark, a little bit, here 15:53 , Ty.
You didn’t build a bad team. However, you DID build a one-dimensional team.
In today’s modern NHL, it’s very difficult for a solid one-dimensional team to keep pace with other teams that have a more dynamic roster and a more multi-dimensional approach. A solid one-dimensional team has a high “floor”, but a low “ceiling”. It doesn’t mean it’s a BAD team; rather it means the team isn’t capable of greatness.

What you are seeing with the bruins is a team running on empty becsuse of YEARS of bad drafts, bad free agent signings, and a core that is no more. Their biggest weakness last year was scoring goals...so they go into the offseason with a ton of cap space and blow it on, wait for it, guys that can't score goals. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WILL THEY PLEASE FIRE CAM AND HIS MINI ME SWEENEY. The Swayman bungle or the Lindholm signing alone (my god the Lindholm signing...) should be grounds for relief of duty.

Ty is bang on. Walk away and don’t be a buyer. Sell and retool. But I think they will go all in again. 👎

Getting out shot isn't a recipe for winning the cup. Do you really want to give up even more draft picks to get some over the hill player to try and make the playoffs? They need to retool 100%

I agree. As much as I enjoy postseason hockey, the Bruins need to start acquiring players that will make them a force to be reckoned with in 2026/27. If that means punting on this current season and unloading a few players that aren’t part of that 2026/27 plan, now, then I’m all in favor of that.
