I think this is happening because they moved the IR blaster and the noise cancelling microphone to the camera array instead of being on top of the phone. Humidity is creeping to the inside of the camera array causing fogginess in pictures
I've had the phone- Xiaomi 14 since yesterday. This confirms the problem reported by almost all users. The camera lens fogs up. When recording, e.g. in 4K or 8K, the phone heats up and steam enters the lens as a result of active cooling. The lens also fogs up when moving from a room with a lower temperature to a room with a higher temperature. I wonder how Xiaomi will react to this huge problem that affects every user, I'm waiting for action. A lens for legendary haze...
Literally nothing, i just tried few times if it still happening if im recording in 4k 8k around 2 mins and its not happened again. I will try soon record more outside and will see
My X14 foggs up after simply on the camera screen for a bit longer time. I guess it's something related to inside components of the camera being suddenly heating up thereby increasing the inside temperature than the outside causing moisture trapped inside to fog up. But, yes this is a disappointing issue for a phone of this price range and this good camera.
Why don't they just put 1" 20mp sensor paired with a glass optics instead of cheap plastic one? Quadbayer sensor and compromised optics design not gonna give any better results.
Went to the service centre, notified the issue. They made a ticket and said if it happens again they will replace the phone. Till now the issue hasn't come back.
Lets Sue The Xiomi Corporation For This Problem..Issue Is Not Domestic Level...They Need to Pull Back Their Mobile Phones...Or Apologise For The Inconvenience
Lieca and Xioami Collab, they came up with the fog. It's actually a feature that keeps people away to take more photos and videos in their daily lives so that they could have a quality time with their friends / family etc.
Have the same issue in vietnam. Most of us returns to the store. If Xiaomi doesnt make any annoucements to fix it completely. I am sure there's no one buying this 14
Whoever bought it will likely share positive feedback on Amazon because, despite the potential deal-breaking issue, it's an absolute steal at 32k with an exchange offer.
Bro my phone's camera fogging don't get cleared as long as the camera is open don't know what to do 😢 service center doesn't have any answer to the fog issue
It's there with my Xiaomi 14 also. Very disappointing. Also the hang issue has also arrived with this few days back. Apps are crashing phone doesn't respond for 2-3 minutes. What's the solution for this??
this sounds a like an unfanny joke- I had phones without IP rating and when temperature was minus 5 degress od 5 degrees there was no condensation- what is the mistake- they locked some liquid in the production inside???

Fortunately, My Xiaomi 14 does not have the issue. If it does, do this, take out the sim tray, start recording an 8K video and then after 15-20 minutes, put the sim tray back on. The heat produce is said to make the humidity escape from inside the phone through the sim card slot.
Once again. It doesn’t matter how good the cameras are on these android phones. The all under preform when it comes to social media posting. Especially Snapchat. And the apps on iOS are way better optimized than it is on Android.
I purchased the most expensive phone of my life, the Xiaomi 14, and began fogging. It crushed my heart. Please provide a solution without opening the phone. My heart cannot handle the phone's postmortem after just 9 days of purchase. The service centre is refusing me to replace it as it passed 7 days replacement period.
@@kunalbhadwal7139 There is no solution yet. I got silica gel and placed it in a box, then placed the phone without a sim tray inside for a couple of nights with no results. Additionally, silica gel caused scratches on my camera lens. Service center told me that they will open the back cover and clean it and then they will put it back. I'm not going to allow opening my phone for that.

Most polish tech youtubers told about it. Xiaomi's statement in poland denies all of it.

The same thing happened with my Xiaomi 14 right after I unboxed it, it was at a temperature between 30-35C in a well ventilated room.
