To anyone who wants to avoid body post issues: Put Velcro on the battery cover doors and inside of the body. Takes no time at all to remove or install the body and it stays on perfectly. Water, snow, mud, its worked for years
I just got a 1/16 E Revo VXL and me and my son love it. He does not even want to drive my Rustler VXL. He perfers the MERV. The body can be held on by velcro on both sides of the battery covers. No pins needed! Install a T Bone Chassis Brace for extra durability for the chassis and you should be good to go. Also you need to change the servo since the stock is pretty weak.
I can't believe i did it. Completely took me by surprise. Im into the big trucks, but my god i got a xo-1 a few months ago and it is awesome! So much fun. I guess getting a crawler will be next. Dang the big erevo is insanely fast. But the xo-1 is next level. 111mph is the fastest ive gone yet. Im afraid im going to completely disintegrate the thing... 🙂 I have xmaxx, erevo, mini erevo, xo-1 and just ordered a 1:78 police car. Midlife crisis? Probably! 😂
Running the 2s in parallel sell give you a longer run time and more pep than the single 2. 3s Lipo will give you much more power with less battery life buy over more fun (in my opinion)
My lady wants a car so you think The erevro isn’t a good start she wants my revo but don’t wanna maintain it so I said nope I’m not gonna fix yours and mine lol so should I go with the erevo or the bandit
Biggest complaint is weak rear diff. Rear bulkhead flexes and then the ring gear wears down and clicks. This was on 2s after loosening the slipper clutch
I had the brushed version and yes the chassis broke on it but it broke for a very simple reason. It was because the stock shock setup was hot garbage! The suspension setup was a steaming pile of dog shit. The shocks basically didn’t work so it bottomed out super easily. And the springs were way too soft so it traction rolled super easily. The only way to remedy that was putting the stiffest mini summit springs on there that Traxxas makes and putting diff fluid in the shocks. Mine had the big heavy Titan 12t motor so I ended up running 15k fluid in the rear shocks and 5k fluid in the front shocks. After that it landed great. The suspension soaked everything up and I could even send it 3-4 feet in the air off my death ramp and flat land it on my asphalt driveway. On my driveway and it would survive because the suspension setup was good. Also since it was so stiff the soft plastic push rods helped to absorb the impacts of jumps

I got mine yesterday for $275 tax included.
So in this case using 2, 2s batteries in parallel would be better then doing the same with 3s? I mean longevity wise.
