Claus has a great RUclips channel as well. As I get older and enjoy raised bed gardening because of ease on the old back and knees. So, pots are just minni raised beds. We'll, that is how I think about things. Your videos are appreciated and looked forward to.
Thanks for the great video. I have grown tulips for the past 3 years. I've had great success each year. The second year the turn out wasn't 100 percent. But I think it was because I used some ceramic pots. Last year, I used only plastic pots and had great success again. Can't wait to get the bulbs and get them planted up. And it is almost Amaryllis time! 🙂
Not yet!.. though it's on the list ;) I like to grow daffodils and tulips in pots for a fun spring display, and then inside the house I'll force amaryllis bulbs as I really enjoy watching those bloom :)
The first frost day has passed a week ago, but so far it is a mild autum so far. I got a lot of tulips bulbs on sale now. Should I still plant them in the groud? Or should I keep them in the fridge and plant them next spring?
I’d plant them now… bulbs are cold tolerant and you can often get away with planting them well into the winter as long as the ground isn’t yet frozen. I planted some daffodil bulbs in December of last year and they bloomed just fine :)

Mini raised beds..I love that!!
Claus Dalby is a treasure! I wish I could visit his garden.
Same! I can’t even imagine how beautiful his displays must be to see in person!
My goodness! Those final shots were stunning! Absolutely gorgeous! ❤
Right?! There’s something special about tulips in pots! 💕
Love your pots, can you share where you get them?

I’m so excited for amaryllis season too! 😉✨💕
So excited to try this. Just put a hold on the book at my library!!
Awesome! You’re going to love it!
Great Video! Thank you! Do you have a video on bulbs that grow well inside during the winter?

So I wont need to water during the winter when there in a shed or unheated garage? Thanks🎉
You are correct! They don’t need much water once they’re in a dormant state!

To reuse the daffodil bulbs for fall, do you take them out of the pots and store them in a dark room until fall or leave them in the pots?
I often leave mine right in their pots but if you’re low on space- I encourage you to experiment and see what works!
Does a shed have the same effect than an unheated garage?
Yes, a shed can work! Might have to be careful of critters.. bulbs can be a tasty snack for them.
Would it hurt to store the pots in an unheated greenhouse for the Winter?
