Best thing is send him to the patriots for Matt Judon and Kendrick Bourne and 2 fourths and a 5th. Niners lost out on this negotiation, they got punked during the bosa deal and now on looking the fools in this negotiations. Best thing to do is not rekindle relationship and trade him.
@@justified004 the cap has exploded since then and jimmy was the highest paid qb in the league at the time. They still had a lot of success and still added great players to the roster with that contract. And who knows if purdy makes 60 a year next year

Maybe Brock does take a discount but it's unlikely to be some huge $20-25M discount. He is making at least $50M and that dramaticly changes our roster. Hell, paying him what Jimmy made in 2019 would greatly change our roster. The time is now because we can't keep paying top dollar to multiple positions. RB, FB, MLB, DE, WR, TE, LT, possibly another WR, and soon our QB would all be paid among the best of their positions
