Maive, this is just soooo beautiful, your painting techniques just amaze me, I would love to spend time just sitting watching you work... you are certainly top of the game board xxx
Loved watching this little beauty evolve! I so enjoy watching you make your creations. Gives me so many ideas for fairy houses. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
A truly spectacular fantasy creation Maive 😍 a really great video, especially when you get so close and show how to get the details on the clay. I wasn’t sure why you were using black as the base, but now I understand. It is amazing, and I’m going to give making one of these a go. Super duper impressed 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you :) Yes, a lot of people asked me about the black clay ^_^ but I did mention it in the video, it's an effect I enjoy when I paint it, but that's me :)
Beverley Mobbs Thank you very much! I'm really glad you enjoy my fantasy tutorials...I have another couple of projects in my head...but they're quite lenghty so they might take some time to come to youtube 😊
That came out so nice! It has such character. ❤ I also like the tool you use. All of mine are straight and watching you work with it I realize that having a tool that is not straight probably works better. I bet it would be easier to control. I will have to look for one with a bent tip like that.
That was awesome 😊😊😊😁 the second I saw that I wet to the store and bought all the things that you used ❤️❤️❤️btw I love your tutorials keep them coming 😊💗
Absolutely gorgeous. You are so good at this! I was looking around at video to get some inspiration for my first clay project, I think this is the one! Thank you very much.
I have brought 46 different kinds of colours of polymer clays! The house could have been better if you made a fairy! I have already been making decorations for my cups out of polymer clays!
Hello just a general question , I see you make fairies & witches houses just love them , now you start you use black polymer clay in the fairy house but I haven’t got a large amount of black but can I have a lot of white polymer clay instead . Many thanks
I know this is an old video but I am loving these SO MUCH and am trying to start making my own! You are such an inspiration! One question though, Is it ok to put the making taped foil in the oven?? Thanks so much!
Hi Whitney, so happy you're enjoying my videos and that you feel inspired to sculpt. I never had a problem with masking tape being in the oven. The temperature is relatively low (110 Celsius). What I do is put the house in the oven first and then turn the oven on so that they both warm up together. I set the timer once the oven reached my desired temperature. Really hope this helps but do let me know if there's anything else I can help you with :)
Love your tutorials! Have just bought myself some clay so I can make fairy houses for the children at work for their fairy garden. You gave me hope I could pull it off! New subscriber here. 😁 I have bought air dry clay though. 😕 Will I still be able to bake it for 15 mins in the oven each time do you think? X
These fantasy houses are my favorite type of tutorial! I really love the technique of pale tones over black clay, it's absolutely lovely and looks really lived in. I also appreciate that you make these tutorials really approachable. I'm definitely going to give this one a shot! If you don't mind me asking a question, I seem to have this weird issue where my clay is super sticky and tends to want to stick to my hands and tools, which makes it super difficult to make small delicate things like the little roses. Do you happen to have any advice?
Thank you Anna, I'm glad you enjoy this kind of tutorial. As for the sticky clay it could be that there is too much oil (plasticizers) in it. I do have a tutorial on how to fix soft clay, it's easier if you watch it rather than having me explain it :D Let me know if that helps, otherwise it could be that the clay you're using is too soft for that type of work. I use mainly PREMO and FIMO professional. FIMO soft and Sculpey III are very soft and I don't recommend them to make delicate flowers with.
Ahhhh, I see! My local craft store only carries Sculpey III so that's what I have on hand. I will try to snag some Premo online (and of course watch your tut anyway, since I seem to have missed that one). Thank you so much!!
I love you clay jars I do stuff like that too. You’re super talented with all the creations you make. We’re did get the pink paint brush you use for Fimo liquid clay.
I'm sorry I don't understand the first part of the question :'D The reason I use foil is to save clay and to help the clay cure more evenly. Polymer clay in thick, dense layers (like the rood would be without the foil core) doesn't cure properly.
Thank you :) If you didn't paint the clay I'd say yes because polymer clay is waterproof although like anything left out in the sun, the colours may fade away. But paints and varnish are not waterproof and will get deteriorated by the elements. Hope this helps :)
You're very kind. I'm not going to lie and say that sculpting is easy, is not and I wasn't born knowing how to do it. It takes time and practice, but have fun and enjoy the ride :)
What was the liquid placed on the jar before the black clay please? I couldn’t quite hear that word...’something liquid’ Thank you I love this beautiful fairy house!
It's FIMO Liquid, same brand as the clay. It's basically liquid polymer clay. It doesn't need to be FIMO, Sculpey and Kato make liquid polymer clay too.
I really like the fact that you are speaking to us telling us what you are using and how you are using the products.
By far you have been my favorite clay instructor on RUclips! I only wish you were still making videos.
Absolutely more little houses. They are just so pretty 🤩
Your little houses are some of my favourites of your projects. You must have a whole collection of adorable lanterns by now!
You make it look so easy but I don’t think it is. Simply stunning.

A exceptionally pretty little house. I loved watching your process, thank you
It would be so nice if you make a jar like a small room by putting some small furniture on it. Furthermore, adding the light system will be perfect!
What a beautiful house! And purple...my favorite color! Beautfiul job, Maive!!

Please do a tour of your craft area!!!!😝😆

have you ever tried a hair pick ? like a Teasing Comb? that would be great for multi lines...
Ha quedado lindo lindo
I love you clay jars I do stuff like that too. You’re super talented with all the creations you make. We’re did get the pink paint brush you use for Fimo liquid clay.
So cute. Question. Would you have to put the clay under the foil, or would using foil work just as well? thanks.
I'm sorry I don't understand the first part of the question :'D The reason I use foil is to save clay and to help the clay cure more evenly. Polymer clay in thick, dense layers (like the rood would be without the foil core) doesn't cure properly.
@@MaiveFerrando I wasnt sure if the first layer of black clay on the glass was needed. Great idea using foil to save on clay. I like that.
@@LedZepUltimateFanPage It depends if you want to sculpt that part or not ;)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
May I ask how many grams of fimo you've used for this project? Roughly idea is OK. Thanks
Mmmm...I've used about 3/4 of a pack of 350g of black FIMO and not that much more of green and grey I had...
It's amazing. But I want to ask you that why did not use white clay instead of black? You could just color them without white layer 😐
or black make the house become ancient? oh yeah~ maybe 😁
You can bake after painting with acrylic paint?
Love It, you're awesome
Thank you :)
These are so cute. I'd love to add these to my flower garden, could they go out side?
Thank you :) If you didn't paint the clay I'd say yes because polymer clay is waterproof although like anything left out in the sun, the colours may fade away. But paints and varnish are not waterproof and will get deteriorated by the elements. Hope this helps :)

Do you have to Cook the Clay after finishing your work?
Yes. I use Sculpey mostly.
Amo seu canal
Obrigada :)

Maive Ferrando Thank you. I hadn’t heard of it before. And thank you for the vids! Amazing work 😊🌸
Maive Ferrando Is there any other way to make the clay stick to the jar and foil? How do you make FIMO liquid?
Looks really lovely, your a very Talented Lady.
Don't like music tho
X
Thanks ;)
Can I use any glass to put in the oven? And how often do I need to put the clay in the oven
Is it safe to put a jar in a regular food owen
Love your works, is there recipe for diy polymer clay like? Polymer clay in Philippines is expensive
beatiful muakc
Nice
