So, a bit of explanation (cause I regularly break games and like to find why) whats presumably happened here is a bit of a bug. Chainsmoker teleports you to a unique place to die, but you also triggered an airlock. In the airlocks, players are teleported into it if they're not inside the room's boundaries. What probably happened is that you got teleported to the Paranoia's box and then teleported into the airlock since the door did not finish locking. Afterwards the game got a little confused about what to do with you, and thus had the small swim bug. You also die in the Paranoia's box area after some time passes, even if you dont approach the box, which is why you died. Sorry for the spiel, I just love making sense of such wild encounters with bugs.
tldr; they got sent to hell and the airlock disagreed
Yeah, that's exactly what happened. Checked if he was in the room just as he got warped away, and got warped back. The green in the sky was the Paranoia location dimension thing, it never unloaded. Any other angler would've just killed him. It's things like this that have me wishing they'd add files for the individual anglers. Even though it was a bug.
Although, the walking bug, that one doesn't make much sense. Either there's a trigger on the surface of water that initiates water movement (and getting teleported twice interrupted that), or your swimming abilities are nonsensically removed when you get to the Paranoia dimension.

FUN FACT: the bunnies give the gravelight (my opnion the best light source) if you give them a gummylight.
edit: also a splorglight, which is a small upgrade and doesn't enrage squiddles AND has a *slightly* longer battery life. they also give you a landmine if you try to trade a gravelight ot splorglight.

i hate Glutton for Punishment, especially on mobile. It's come to the point where the turret + eyefestation room and duo outraged eyefestation has become easy since I've done it so much, but every time my run is ended when eyefestation spawns with a keycard door. I am not joking when I say that with that much pull power, it is physically impossible to complete the keycard animation and I always end up dying before the ridge 😭
On my first try, I made it to the ridge. I was on mobile, but goddamn it was hard.
And then I died cuz of a wall dweller.

Chainsmoker send you to a different place but, since you pulled the lever, it teleports everyone in the server to the lever room so you dont get left behind but the game still registers that you got caught by chainsmoker so it killed you. Sorry i might be bad at explaining

I have the skills to beat a pressure game (which I have) but I need someone to hold my hand along the way (I’m a scaredy cat that can’t play by themselves). I hate horror games I hate it but I can stand pressure BUT MY TEAMMATES KEEP DYING
Almost the same case like me but when I have a Confident I could do that in a solo run and for some reason I really scared when I have all of my teammates dying in a multiplayer run which make me leaving😭😭😭

i think you got revived after the chainsmoker got you in the trenchbleeder airlock because it teleported you to chain's death area and then it teleported you back because the airlocks tp everyone to them when they close

One way to counter the two eyefestations are to simply wait in the previous room until an angler spawns. That is the only way i can think of.

the reason why angler can be replaced is that because it still counts as the same thing as a normal angler encounter when it spawns in, it still has a chance of being a different angler because every time an angler spawns, it makes a check to see if it can be a variant and if it does make that check, a variant goes across the bridge instead. this also includes pandemonium, which will find a route to go to your bridge and kill you (theres clips of it lol). the encounter in this video is an exception because if theres an angler or variant already spawned, its pathing takes it to the bridge and cancels out the bridge spawn :) sorry for the yap session i just really enjoy this topic

If any node monster spawns before the ridge, they always go to the bridge next to you. Maybe that means the angler that always passes by is a real on that spawns when you enter.

Small tips: Doorstopper can be dealt with by walking onto them and then quickly ran back a bit far (It'll only damage you if you walk pass by it, not walking back)

13:00 That ain't even half bad, it's worse when you get surrounded by Outraged Gals and have to find a keycard in the meantime, even worse there is a tripwire at the doors.
Still, they should make it impossible for multiple Eyefestations to spawn in the same room, because that is even wrong lore-wise since there is only one Eyefestation(in siderooms I can kinda understand, she "might" swim over and look at you there(even though you can see one through the doors while having the other to your back), but having two in a room where you can clearly see both is a plothole and an uncool move.)

Can anyone explain this? So I was playing an endless run solo and right after a candlebrute and Trenchbleeder room the lights flickered. I waited a couple minutes thinking it was Chainsmoker or pandemonium. But after like 3 minutes, the lights flickered again. I waited 2 extra minutes and nothing came. Then I just left out of pure boredom. Can anyone explain what happened?

If you were playing with other players, they may have died, become a ghost, then flickered the lights on you
If you were alone, sometimes it just fake flickers like that

im.. sadly.. one of the late owners of the glutton for punishment badge (i believe i was before 750 owners of the badge) but not gonna lie, if it isnt for the DOUBLE eyefestation (like the one you got in oxygen room) i would've won it way faster, but it was a combination of me being stupid and the game just.. put it simply.. poking fun of me with a stick.
one of my first runs i was at room 90 with outraged eyefestation and i died to a candlebrute because i wanted to try and avoid its punch (i didnt avoid it)
another run was me finding oxygen rooms, most of them being dark IN A ROW, accidentally stepping on a door mine (i didnt expect one to be there to be fair) and when exploding, i land on the grass and RIGHT AS I GET UP, a diVine just kills me.
