Oh my! McCray Dove and the Dove Brothers are the ONLY southern gospel group who does these two songs justice. They are tops when they’re out singing southern gospel. THE BEST!
I love The Dove Brothers. They are so good. I love McCray, he's totally an amazing singer. I love his enthusiasm for God. They came to my old church to sing for us.
Jerry Kelso has always been so underappreciated in terms of his keyboard artistry in southern gospel music. But he is incredible, and he was definitely a great fit for the Dove Brothers.
If you like this, check in your area for the "Together Again" tour with The New Dove Brothers and The Dixie Melody Boys!! YESSS, McCray Dove is baaacckkk!! The tour is awesome!!! You don't want to miss this ;)
He joined the Kingdom Heirs back in 2011, after their Tenor, Billy Hodges, had to leave the Kingdom Heirs. Jerry's been with the Kingdom Heirs ever since.

Always felt bad for McCray. I know it was planned. But it always felt like he was pushing himself too much. Wish the reunion tour didn't have to be canceled last year.
Jerry Butler this group really puts on a show. Would not cross the street to see this. They could be a blessing but they need to tape the show out of their performance.
@@sdontmovl4900 that just because that’s the only way he knows how to sing it. With everything he’s got. Still praising the same God. Whether you think so or not, no need to knock them.

Is the tenor who sings to The Kingdom Heirs? The guy is the best. This group is amazing.
Yes Jerry Martin. He was also with the Kingsmen. He is great!
He joined the Kingdom Heirs back in 2011, after their Tenor, Billy Hodges, had to leave the Kingdom Heirs. Jerry's been with the Kingdom Heirs ever since.

[Intro]
Get away
Get away
Get away
Get away
[Chorus]
Get away (get away Jordan)
Get away (get away ole chilly Jordan)
Get away (get away Jordan)
I wanna cross over to see my Lord
Well, Get away (get away Jordan)
Get away (get away ole chilly Jordan)
Get away, old chilly Jordan (get away Jordan)
I wanna cross over to see my Lord
[Verse 1:
You know, I promised the Lord if he set me free
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
I’d go until I find what the end might be
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
One day, one day I was walking along
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
And you know I heard a voice, but I saw no one
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
The voice I heard sounded oh so sweet
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
Came down from my head to sole of my feet
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
[Chorus]
Get away (get away Jordan)
Get away (get away ole chilly Jordan)
Get away, old chilly Jordan (get away Jordan)
I wanna cross over to see my Lord
[Verse 2:
One of these mornings and it won't be long
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
You gonna look for me child, but Ill be gone
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
Just a few more risings and the settings of the sun
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
This old battle’ll be fought and my victory won
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
And now the friends I used to love so dear
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
Done gone on to glory and left me here
(yes, I wanna cross over and see my Lord)
[Verse 3:]
When my feet get cold, eyes are shut
Body done chilled by the hand of death
Tongue glued to the roof my mouth
Hands laid folded across my breast
Don’t have to worry bout the way I left
God almighty done told He'd be right there
Lift me up on his wings of love
Carry my soul to the heaven's above
They tell me Jordan’s deep and wide
But I promised mother I’d see her on the other side
[Chorus]
Get away (get away Jordan)
Oh, get away (get away ole chilly Jordan)
Get away back, old chilly Jordan (get away Jordan)
I wanna cross over to see my Lord
I said get away (get away Jordan)
Oh, get away (get away ole chilly Jordan)
Get away back, old chilly Jordan (get away Jordan)
I wanna cross over to see my Lord

Can anyone provide the actual lyrics to Didn't It Rain?
Didn’t it rain children, rain all the time
Didn’t it (yes) didn’t it (you know it did)
Didn’t it (oh my lord) didn’t it rain
Now stop n’ still listen to me,
God walked down by the mighty sea
He beheld the evil of sinful man,
Planned that he would destroy the land
Well he spoke to Noah,
Noah stopped he said,
Look-y here Noah build an Ark
He said “I want you to build it big and strong
Build it 300 cubits long, 30 high, 50 wide
Enough to stand my rain and tide”
Didn’t it rain children, rain all the time
Didn’t it (yes) didn’t it (you know it did)
Didn’t it (oh my lord) didn’t it rain
After God told noah what to do,
Noah began to cut and hew
Well the ringing of the hammer was judgement
Swinging of the saw, God sinner repent,
For 100 years hammered and sawed
Built the Ark by the grace of God
After the great foundation was laid
He hewed the timber, the Ark was made
Well he called on the animals 2-by-2
There was an Ox, a Camel, and a Kangaroo
Then he called in Japeth, Shem and Ham
God began to flood the land
He raised his hand over heavens on high
Knocked the sun and moon from the sky
Shook the mountains, stirred the sea
Hitched the winch on his chariot wheel
Stepped off land and stood on board
Declared that time will be no more
