I had a lovely deal with the grill guy at Golden Corral (before the virus that must not be named) I took him a plate to set aside all the fat he was asked to trim off and kept bringing empty exchange plates to trade for the fat and a bit of meat... now that restaurant and a lot of others are boarded up

On this end of the state we have a place called ' Mission BBQ ' . Their food looks much like Martin's. Highly recommend it , if you ever come down this way .

Shabu Shabu in Nashville is a really good all you can eat Korean BBQ (and hotpot) for a really good price. Their pork belly and chuck flap tail is unseasoned and amazing!!!

They also have TONS of seafood (shrimp, octopus, muscles, squid, clams, I'm sure I'm missing some). Pretty much all the seafood is unseasoned so you don't have to worry about it and they even have hard boiled quail eggs, which I tried for the first time and LOVED.

Neisha I understand the excitement, same for me when I got beef internal fats from my butcher which they would throw away. I was lucky to get two entire cows internal fats. I rendered one set and got about one gallons tallow.
This is gonna sound funny but I love the way you eat Neisha! lol You chow down like you really enjoy your food and there's not one princess thing about it! I love that! I can remember growing up being taught to eat "lady like" , small bites, chew it well and don't talk while you eat, blah blah blah. That just takes away from really enjoying your food in my opinion and as a young girl I couldn't even eat in front of boys for the longest time. It was a shaming experience that I refuse to pass on to my kids. Anyway, that just popped into my head, because everytime I see you eat, I'm like THAT'S how to eat good food for crying out loud! 😋❤

I was just at the Parthenon on Saturday... such a cool place. I love it. We went to McNamaras to eat after though. I had corned beef and cabbage and I tried the Scotch eggs. So delicious.
That brisket looked amazing. I love beef tongue. It's so tender. My mom used to cook beef heart, grind it up, add some mayo and mustard and use it as a dip for vegetables.

I live in TX and when growing up my dad would always tell us he didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday and then to find out there is a place called the turnip truck was funny to me.

Simmer a while longer and then enjoy. Just now thinking maybe do some bones with it and get two good things at once. So tender and delish. Everyone loves it as long as you don't tell em what it is.

I remained silent and hoped she wouldn't put that in her cart. True story. It was disturbing to me because at 68 I still remember it! Will you film cooking it? I would like to see that. We raise our own totally grass fed/finished beef and lamb. Beef tongue makes the most tender crockpot roast.
