Thank *you* for leaving such a nice comment! I love making videos about the things I’m passionate about and the fact that people actually watch them, despite me being not so great at English and having a funny accent, and still find the videos entertaining, it all means the world to me. I remember when I had trouble getting over 20 views so I try to keep that in mind and be thankful whenever I can. My Dauntless videos may not be getting as much attention as my Monster Hunter vídeos but I personally love the game so I’ll keep making Dauntless videos for those who may enjoy the game as well :)
I always see the opposite for the vents, just a few minutes in and the vent is already gone coz people who have about 75% health think they need to use it.
I have a habit of not checking how much health I have left, so while my teammates are well over 75% and leave a charge or two over before the second half of the fight, I’m already looking for the behemoth with like 5 hp. That usually leads to me being knocked out about a second into the fight, so you’d think I’d learn from it...
There are some attacks that I find really irritating to dodge into. Mainly all the 360 tailswipes. (more like 450) It often happens that, when you don't perfectly dodge the attack, you come out of your dodge on the other side of the monster and bam tail to the face.
Monsters being hyper-mobile and doing 360 swiping attacks non-stop are my main two problems with Dauntless. Having to dodge roll into the monster as opposed to away from it is just super counter-intuitive. Never mind that designing fights like this renders the slower weapons practically useless for most people, forcing you to swap. Looking at you, Riftstalker.

So first, use your own potions. This will make the fight easier instead of losing your time drinking the vent during a fight. It also makes it easier for everyone to drink the latest vent once the behemot has run away.
That's a point, but imagine you get the first phase, everyone is full hp, 3 aether vent charges are still there, but you have no pots, 3 charges wasted
Use Koshai lantern click ability. It gives you life steal and nice dash as a bonus. The dash did 750 terra dmg. Which is good. Pair it with cell that grants you fixed lantern charge per atk (for fast weapon) or percentage lantern charge (for slow weapons) and you'll be like ninja, in and out battle as you please.
Concentrate on upgrading 1 set of armor and weapons vs. upgrading all of them evenly. There's lots of sets to upgrade so might as well make 1 set 300 instead of all of them 100 to 140.
Actually you should just be running a build. And with the right cells you can really do some work. But you don't focus one set of gear. If it's one set as in full top too bottom atleast look up a build and swap some pieces too match. Great vid 'Hero, hope it gets a lot of Dauntless player views. I see impatient randoms using revives early all the time, sometimes you have to lure the Behe away from the downed player first. I'm like "I can't get to you immediately, give it a second, huh?" Lol I do struggle with rolling into attacks tho, all those MHW hours have my instincts to roll away, a difficult habit to break when your in the midst of a tussle. Practice makes perfect.
@@joelananna1116 Started MHW for the first time after geting all exotics in Dauntless (they drop from H+ behemoth ).Lets just say I have same problem dodging away xD
just to say about the rolling in attacks. It depends on the attack. There are some behemoths that chain 2 attacks 1 right after the other so the 2nd one will 100% hit you if you roll into them.
Some times players won’t help because they don’t want to so you have to use your own revive to stay in the fight because players will not always help because they don’t want to do that you have to count on yourself at times
About the aethervents, it is a community practice that in the group we leave that for the carry. If a player gets slammed and uses up his poitions at that points it is better to revive him than letting the potentially carry fall out with his resources. Granted veteran players don't actually need aethervents.
Saw a Dauntless video of yours a few weeks ago when Dauntless released on Xbox & Ps4. Haven't watched anyone else but you since lol. GG Keep up the great content. 😎
i think reloading near an Aether vent should empower your repeater shots too, seeing as that is what we are sucking away from the beh, but thats just me
I see a lot of people put on armor that will make them weaker in battle. For an example if they are fighting a frost behemoth they would wear blaze armor.
From what Ive heard you are supposed to use your self rez on the early side so that your threat meter doesnt go up as fast, and apparently nothing makes it go up fast like having downed people waiting for rez.
Also I've noticed on the huge frost behemoth (idk the name, the one that becomes invulnerable until you kill his minions) that if you use repeaters, you can overcharge the reload using the minions so you don't have to run to the behemoth all the time
Another tip or warning, do not use a transmog orb on a gear then apply another transmog on the piece of gear you use a orb on to have a different look, you will have to use another orb again to recieve the look you had when you used the orb the first time.
Grande vídeo. Muito útil. Estou agora a começar o Dauntless e estou a adorar. Foi muito bom encontrar um canal com esta dimensão e é um Tuga que o faz... Continuação de Bom Trabalho e Muito Obrigado!
another thing is not crafting the armor sets upgrading it to at least +6 and using it against the same behemoths with weaker versions 10 times it has makes you do mixing and matching to your desired builds and making the behemoth mastery much easier in which the higher mastery you go the more benefits you gain like passive health and stamina buffs double part and loot gain chances etc. another one and this one is basic is not reading the monster attack pattern
In escalation its verry frustrating if people stay down and dont use self revive..the danger meter goes up and dont get the max escalation to the next behemot. Tis much easier to reach 40 this way. And just save 1 revive for when its needed.
Wish there was an indicator for empowering repeaters. I know it works on from the location you start the reload but different behemoths seem to have different windows.
If they charge, I roll to the side. I find myself rolling as soon as a charge attack starts so if I roll into it I’ll get hit. I play with an axe and haven’t figured out how to boop with it or just suck at booping with the axe. I can boop with the spear thing though.
Can't really decide who is right. Some content creators say you should self-ress imediately, to prevent the quickly rising of the danger meter, some say don't self-ress and wait for someone else to ress you. And while self-ressing always increase the meter by a bunch, I still can't decide if it worth waiting for randoms to ress you.
If someone is ressed by multiple slayers together, the %meter will lower a lot more. So it's definitely better to keep the 3 stims till the danger is 100%. I only disagree with the 1st mistake, people shouldn't drink the vents (and even more during a fight) and use their potions instead.
Unless you get other players who think your trash cause you go down more then them cause your trying out a new weapon type but they refuse to revive you then wonder why they couldnt get the behemoths agro away from them and they kept dying aswell...
For me the biggest problem is the aether vents. I try not to use any health potion or vent unless I need it( as in 70% hp I don’t use, 30% I use) but when I actually need to use the vent (cause I want to save as much healing potion I can) it’s gone. Not even a few moments into the fight it’s gone. This is especially annoying when the behemoth decides focus only on me for the remainder of the fight
Just had an malkurian escalation hunt with with an asshat who ran in to get koed in one hit, use all his revives then hide and tried to make us fight for him. It's a horrible experience when could have soloed the entire thing but got like 10/40 points because we had to try to find the guy to force him to play and constantly revive him. I hate those players
i disagree with your first point. i always get more mileage out of the first aether vent after the behemoth runs. along with that, it allows some free heals to those that got low after the first fight. the second one, though, i always see as a post potion option for people and will actively try to get the behemoth away from it so people who get low but have either no potions or aren't willing to part with their healing items that quickly can get some heals and some aether charge. this strat works especially well for escalation, as people who try to dive for the vent while the fight is going on get smacked more times then not while those who try to heal only after the behemoth is gone get the heals with no catch
Thanks for the tips I have the game ready to go just need a few things to get it ready but I will start playing the game soon and follow your tips on what not to do in the game.
You missed literally one of the most important things. When you STAGGER a behemoth DO NOT attack weakened parts or parts that you have been attacking for most the hunt, when you break a part while a behemoth is staggered it completely gets rid of the staggered effect even if it just happened
I disagree with some of the like don't focus on breaking parts because break dmg is less than normal dmg so if you want the behemoth to die focus on already broken parts
1. Don't use aether borne.... It suck rather go for more dmg in any way 2. Very advanced players do actually waste their revives because they died because they fucked up in a dumb way and they know its not likely to happen again and they will most likely win this hunt anyways. The danger meter won't even get to max 3. Stamina needs a rework 4. The middleman is very important guys please start to use this npc 5. Your goal as a repeater user is to have ur empowered state up all the time... HUG THE BEHEMOTH and don't just stay away 10kilometers ur basically afk at that point
War Pike main here. I know most aren't fans of it, but it is grossly underrated. The wound buff makes myself and the other slayers burn thru parts and main health.
@@Subst4nce12I've also always rebelled against the meta. So when I see everyone using something (Axe, and Hammer) I make it a point to avoid it. I think in the right hands any weapon is great.
yes do not waste your self revives but some people are dumb and expect you to use em and not revive you which is dumb because reviving is optimal. The self revive should only be used if danger is at 100%
"TOP 10 WORST MISTAKES NOOBS MAKE" Should have put using Aetherborn on that list. :S Look, if you have nothing better to slot - fine, go ahead and do not feel bad about that! Got to start somewhere. But, by god, do not aim for it! Ps. As some have already mentioned. Is people NOT using the Aetherwent really an issue...? Because I too, run into the opposite problem. XD
I just recently got the game i love it and im a chain blades user, i wanna know is it good to just stay on one weapon type or should i switch around my weapons?
PrimBeasty There are some quests that require you to use a different weapon. Aside from that, just stick to them. If you feel like they resonate with you and match your playstyle liking, there’s really no point to use the other weapons. Unless you want to experiment with the other weapons, which is totally fine! However once you’ve used a weapon for so long, it kind of gets difficult getting into another weapon, changes in movestyle and weight and whatnot.
@prim I dunno, I recommend a sword because of its weight and short combos and dishes out decent damage the axe is slow but does devastating part damage for investing into other things with the break parts you earn the hammer is sir stagger and every1 knows it, it is the slowest weapon of all but hits are worth it chain blades are speedy and the dodge is unique so you need to practice dodging with other things strikers are great and have powerful speedy combos repeaters have range that flatlines quite quickly but can dish out good damage that knocks hp off the behemoth well, not for obtaining break parts though
Please don't listen to the part about lying around on the ground waiting for a revive. If you go down next to a teammate and they immediately come to you then sure, but don't lie there while you watch your team across the map stagger stunlocking a behemoth to death and expect them to stop and come to you. All you do is run up the danger meter and when you cap it out you really won't be getting a revive. You are also contributing absolutely nothing to the fight while you lie there, get up and deal damage and the fight won't be prolonged causing you to just die more.
So you used up all 3 of your stims, as did your teammates listening to your advice, and the behemoth becomes enraged and aether charged and downs all of you. Now what?
@@eddyjimenez7655 Or 1 person does 90% of the damage and ends up dying cause his teammates did nothing but lie on the ground for the majority of the fight and put you at 100% danger instead of getting up and pitching in and killing it more quickly. The situation you are talking about is if the whole group is terrible and in that case they were screwed from the beginning. Generally you will have 1 or 2 competent players that don't want to spend their time picking up the people who just lie around. The only people who really want to wait for a rez and complain about using stims early are people who foresee themselves running out because they die a lot. I only wait for a rez on heroic + if I get downed early by some bs. If i go down on any lower end content i just stim cause i really don't go down often enough to worry about running out. Don't expect people to babysit you, if you want that then play in a premade group. Don't expect randoms to do everything for you. I never see good players just lying around for 20+ seconds for a rez, just saying. They get up and go to it. Don't be dead weight.
There’s a lot of nuance to this topic. Obviously context is key and i didn’t want to spend too much time on the same point, but it all depends on too many factors. All I said was a general rule. If your teammates ignore you while you’re downed, then of course, by all means use one of the stims to get back up.
@@DarkHeroCC By not really elaborating or going into specific scenarios it sounds like you are just telling people not to use stims unless its at 100% danger. That is bad advice and will cause more problems than it will solve.

Another reason for repeater users to stay close to a behemoth is that you reload using the behemoth's aether therefore overcharging your attacks.
Yeah, that’s the one of the main mechanics of the repeaters and you honestly cannot become an even decent repeater player without doing that.

i love this guys accent im learning alot as a new player
Great vid 'Hero, hope it gets a lot of Dauntless player views.
I see impatient randoms using revives early all the time, sometimes you have to lure the Behe away from the downed player first. I'm like "I can't get to you immediately, give it a second, huh?" Lol
I do struggle with rolling into attacks tho, all those MHW hours have my instincts to roll away, a difficult habit to break when your in the midst of a tussle. Practice makes perfect.
Omg the dodging is killing me lol
Joolsy B Thanks! And you’re right about that, practice does make perfect. After some time you’ll get used to it and everything becomes much easier
Joe Lananna what do you mean?
@@DarkHeroCC i'm a bow main in world so i'm not used to dodging into attacks
Im used to dashing side to side thru them its killing me lol
@@joelananna1116 Started MHW for the first time after geting all exotics in Dauntless (they drop from H+ behemoth ).Lets just say I have same problem dodging away xD
just to say about the rolling in attacks. It depends on the attack. There are some behemoths that chain 2 attacks 1 right after the other so the 2nd one will 100% hit you if you roll into them.
Some times players won’t help because they don’t want to so you have to use your own revive to stay in the fight because players will not always help because they don’t want to do that you have to count on yourself at times
well I knew most of these but I did not know the repeaters range drop off or the the signs for max damage so thanks a million man!
Hey, thanks dude! I’m glad to be able to help!!
“The repeaters are the only ranged weapons in Dauntless.”

i think reloading near an Aether vent should empower your repeater shots too, seeing as that is what we are sucking away from the beh, but thats just me
I just started today, thx for the tips :)
Smoky Bacon same! Today was the first day I really started getting the hang of it. Cool game!
I see a lot of people put on armor that will make them weaker in battle. For an example if they are fighting a frost behemoth they would wear blaze armor.
Suuuuuper helpful video!!! We need more of there for new players
Thanks, I’m glad to be of help!!
Wow, a bunch of stuff here I didn't know, thank you!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope you look forward to future videos ^^
Persona 5 music in the background, love it aha
P5 is pure awesomeness
From what Ive heard you are supposed to use your self rez on the early side so that your threat meter doesnt go up as fast, and apparently nothing makes it go up fast like having downed people waiting for rez.
It's a case by case thing but usually it is better to stim than wait.
Just downloaded this game and I already love the grind 🤟🏽
Also I've noticed on the huge frost behemoth (idk the name, the one that becomes invulnerable until you kill his minions) that if you use repeaters, you can overcharge the reload using the minions so you don't have to run to the behemoth all the time
Another tip or warning, do not use a transmog orb on a gear then apply another transmog on the piece of gear you use a orb on to have a different look, you will have to use another orb again to recieve the look you had when you used the orb the first time.
Grande vídeo. Muito útil. Estou agora a começar o Dauntless e estou a adorar.
I once had someone in recruit armour and basic sword while on a riftstalker pursuit
another thing is not crafting the armor sets upgrading it to at least +6 and using it against the same behemoths with weaker versions 10 times it has makes you do mixing and matching to your desired builds and making the behemoth mastery much easier in which the higher mastery you go the more benefits you gain like passive health and stamina buffs double part and loot gain chances etc. another one and this one is basic is not reading the monster attack pattern
this ^
In escalation its verry frustrating if people stay down and dont use self revive..the danger meter goes up and dont get the max escalation to the next behemot. Tis much easier to reach 40 this way. And just save 1 revive for when its needed.
Thanks dude your video helped me so much
Me: get knockdown
My team: nein
The danger meter: from 10-ish to full
Me: why didnt anyone help me?
What's better ?
Melee or ranged attacks ?
Love this game. Love your content. Information is spot on. Any news on season six that you could share with us?
Wish there was an indicator for empowering repeaters. I know it works on from the location you start the reload but different behemoths seem to have different windows.
There's a count down that starts once u do the empowered reload directly under the health bar
Really helpful, thanks!
my teammates always get confused when I'm standing directly underneath the slamming shrowd to charge my perks
Well i would prefer to use other colors for the tip-boxes like at 1:30. I can't read green and white well...but anyways nice video!
If they charge, I roll to the side. I find myself rolling as soon as a charge attack starts so if I roll into it I’ll get hit. I play with an axe and haven’t figured out how to boop with it or just suck at booping with the axe. I can boop with the spear thing though.
Hi I started this week these tips are very helpful for me and my friends
Glad to know I was able to help you guys out and I hope my future videos can also prove useful to you!
Always wait for a revive, what happens when/if the danger meter fills and your team is out of rez needles??? Your screwed. Save them.
Unless you get other players who think your trash cause you go down more then them cause your trying out a new weapon type but they refuse to revive you then wonder why they couldnt get the behemoths agro away from them and they kept dying aswell...
Extra props for using Persona 5 OST
I like the Persona 5 music in the background
Behemoth: Ah yes, this fool will never have the guts or mechanics to roll into danger.
Dark Souls players: *masochistic music intensifies*
I want to clarify one thing.....we have infinite self revives right? After i use all my self revives it automatically recharges after some seconds
Your teammates are selfish. They don't need the vents but still use them. Its really annoying
Pedro Super Hero III I hope I can help!
DarkHero Gaming Channel thanks but u have helped me a lot on these tips and on other things like with Monster Hunter and Dauntless.
i like how this video was one giant ad for creator codes :P
You missed literally one of the most important things. When you STAGGER a behemoth DO NOT attack weakened parts or parts that you have been attacking for most the hunt, when you break a part while a behemoth is staggered it completely gets rid of the staggered effect even if it just happened
Me: Hellion armor My friend:wearing quillshot while fighting Nayzaga
I disagree with some of the like don't focus on breaking parts because break dmg is less than normal dmg so if you want the behemoth to die focus on already broken parts
This creator code systems sounds pretty good. Maybe riot should adopt it so i can better support my fav league streamers.
I have people waste the vents and self revives constantly, often leaving me to finish off the behemoth by myself as a gunner >.
"once you have aetherborne +6" "next mistake noobs make: running aetherborne +6"
1. Don't use aether borne.... It suck rather go for more dmg in any way
2. Very advanced players do actually waste their revives because they died because they fucked up in a dumb way and they know its not likely to happen again and they will most likely win this hunt anyways. The danger meter won't even get to max
3. Stamina needs a rework
4. The middleman is very important guys please start to use this npc
5. Your goal as a repeater user is to have ur empowered state up all the time... HUG THE BEHEMOTH and don't just stay away 10kilometers ur basically afk at that point
Another helpful video thank you. Just wondering what is the outfit at the end when using Chainblades?
Thanks! I’m glad you’re enjoying the Dauntless videos ^^ I believe it’s the cosmetic armor from Hunt Pass Season 2 if I’m not mistaken
Middleman when i went to add a 3+ cell it would only input 2k gold now will it be rng or does the 2k gold secure the cell im trying to upgrade?
im a molten goblin and always will be! Gimme those orbs boy! You're making my pure dps cells do even more work
i haven't touched an ather vent in months lmao
War Pike main here. I know most aren't fans of it, but it is grossly underrated. The wound buff makes myself and the other slayers burn thru parts and main health.
Warpike is good love using it but am an axe main
@@Subst4nce12I've also always rebelled against the meta. So when I see everyone using something (Axe, and Hammer) I make it a point to avoid it. I think in the right hands any weapon is great.

@@eerov8256 yes
yes do not waste your self revives but some people are dumb and expect you to use em and not revive you which is dumb because reviving is optimal. The self revive should only be used if danger is at 100%

I peeped the persona 5 music
"TOP 10 WORST MISTAKES NOOBS MAKE"
Should have put using Aetherborn on that list. :S
Look, if you have nothing better to slot - fine, go ahead and do not feel bad about that! Got to start somewhere.
But, by god, do not aim for it!
Ps. As some have already mentioned.
Is people NOT using the Aetherwent really an issue...?
Because I too, run into the opposite problem. XD
I just recently got the game i love it and im a chain blades user, i wanna know is it good to just stay on one weapon type or should i switch around my weapons?
switch so you dont tire of it
PrimBeasty There are some quests that require you to use a different weapon.
@prim I dunno, I recommend a sword because of its weight and short combos and dishes out decent damage
the axe is slow but does devastating part damage for investing into other things with the break parts you earn
the hammer is sir stagger and every1 knows it, it is the slowest weapon of all but hits are worth it
chain blades are speedy and the dodge is unique so you need to practice dodging with other things
strikers are great and have powerful speedy combos
repeaters have range that flatlines quite quickly but can dish out good damage that knocks hp off the behemoth well, not for obtaining break parts though
Very helpful
I didnt know aether vents healed you or that they had a limited amount for everyone. I thought it was just a risky way to get a free lantern charge.
I have been playing since it was in open beta
Can we do Boop with Sword?
Yes u heavy attack
I disagree about self revive because it’s not mean that the players will revive you. Soo just use them, and do not make the danger meter go faster
Do you know a way to remember the combos because I always froget in battle I wish they would put the combos on the screen in battles
There is a move list. Or go in the training grounds
The music is fantastic! Love persona 5!
@@danro7593 Again, I said *general rule*
I can't possibly include every scenario in a top 10.
