I guess you're right, buddy. All the tracks in her 'Erotica' album has this kind of texture. A bad treatment for a quite nice album with quite nice songs. Quite forgivable... but to repeat the same texture much worser on her 'Bedtime Stories' album is something I find really disappointing. (I dunno what she & Pettibone were thinking when they were mixing the tracks.) 6/22/13
Madonna's best time is long ago - Erotica and Bedtime stories was her career highlight...following - all other music was just crap - including : Rebel Heart. It's time to leave the stage Madonna...and how michael jackson give out the old recordings - there are so many good songs, that she never released.
I agree with you, Rebel Heart is her second best album! I just loved it. But Erotica is great too and Thief of Hearts is one of her best songs of all time.
i love Erotica. Rain, Bad Girl ( best video sonce Vogue) Deeper & Deeper, Erotica, Rain, Waiting - all great tracks. Madonna's entire back catalogue is collective genius. she's still the greatest!!

I dunno why this song's texture is like this? (Vocals are hardly heard and orchestration is not crisp and clear.)
