Pat Ryan is lacking the ruthlessness to drop Horgan because of Horgans stature within cork hurling. I still expect Cork to get out of Munster, but that Waterford win has thrown a huge spanner in the works
No county with serious ambitions of winning an All Ireland would still be persisting with Horgan, Lehane and Horgan. They had great careers but their pace and work rate is not at the level now required .
