  • This video will show you how to use Aero & Mixamo together for characters and animations! We'll go through Mixamo to select a character and animations to play on the character. Then we'll bring those cool assets into Aero and hook them up through Behavior Builder. This will help in creating super fun Augmented reality experiences!

The algorithm really messed up on this one! This video should have way more views. I like this guy's personality on here. Plus the video was SUPER helpful because otherwise I would have been in tears tying to figure this stuff out.

Thanks for this! You really helped me big time! Creating an AR experience for my nephew with autism. He loves characters. Trying to make it an immersive play buddy. Also for other kids as well who don’t have many friends but an imagination.

Hi there. This video was just what I needed. Still have a problem, though. How can I export this animation and import it in the iPad app? It seems not to accept the .real extension.

Hi ya! There are two options. 1) download the beta version of Aero desktop and assemble your scene there. The scene will automatically sync up to Adobe Creative Cloud and show up on your phone when you open Aero on mobile. I have some more tutorials coming on this. 2) There is a "Send to Aero" button in Mixamo (right under the Download button). This will send the animation to your adobe Creative Cloud account and you can open it on Aero Mobile. Hope that helps!

Posting as of Feb 2024 - You no longer have to download the animation separate from the character. Choose your character > animation> download w/skin > load to Aero and done! This tutorial was perfect for me learning previously, however, Adobe has made a few " updates". Good luck all !

This tutorial was so helpful. I was having trouble figuring out how to import anything from Mixamo to AR and get it to work.
    Thank you🫶
