Viking carving at Bidston Hill. April 20, 2023. Part 1.

At last!! Following directions from a friend, I found the Viking rock carving of Sunna - the goddess of the sun - on Bidston Hill. The carving is very worn but once I moved position it became clearer. To think it is over 1,000 years old!

Was there yesterday, red ribbons still there in the trees , interesting history for sure 🌞
