+Wika Li If the song has a lot of high position notes, it will be easy to read the Tab. But the staff is more important to learn the basic of music. Hope that answer your question.
Rainy Day Studio oh thanks for your comment. Recently, I started studying classical music by self learning... In fact that the progress rate isn't ideal just like to always think about what the notation refer to, sad....😂😂 May you mind giving me some suggestions to improve my sight reading?
To learn how to read notation we have to throw away the TAB altogether. TAB cannot teach us musical knowledge, TAB cannot teach us how to arrange. This is a common problem among guitarists but not other instruments. I think one of the reasons is we depend too much on the TAB. You can learn notation by doing some theory workbooks. And play some guitar exercises and songs without TAB. You can consider my lesson books in "Progressive Fingerstyle Guitar Syllabus" at rainydaystudio.easy.co/. You can choose the book that fits your level.
Aww great job! Totoro approves! 😊💕
Thank you. Happy learning !
Nice
I has been interested in which types of music sheet you watched when sight reading.
Tablature or staff sheet?
