What freedom have truckers lost? To me it looks like just a bunch of whiney selfish cry babies who are afraid of getting poked with a needle. All they are doing now is giving truckers a really bad reputation. After this mess is finished with, truckers are gonna get shit on by the public for years to come.

Is it normal there for the city to post no parking signs during a snow emergency? Do people there not know to move their cars when there is a snow emergency? Here in Michigan most cities have ordinances where if it snows more than 4-6 inches for example (every street has a permanent road sign for how much snowfall is considered an emergency) or if there is a snow emergency reported on television or sent out some other way all cars must move out of the street or they will be issued a ticket and potentially towed at the owners expense. It just seems like a waste of manpower, materials and resources to post temporary signs each snow fall deemed a snow emergency.
@@OFP oh that makes sense. I could only imagine it takes a few days or maybe even a week for them to get to all the streets. Here it's usually only a day or two the snow emergencies last. Sometimes it might be 3 or 4 but never more than that (at least in my area). So basically if the plows haven't made it to your street to do the final swipe after the snow emergency expires then you're free to park there until next snowfall. This can sometimes lead to a bad situation. Usually not though as we don't get nearly as much snow in southeast Michigan as you all get up there.

I understand that, we have to many roads to much snow and to many vehicles lol they do certain streets at a time
Yeah because even here we have stupid drivers who choose to not read signs. It's sad but necessary.
Yeah there's a tow truck and bylaw nearby lol

Doesn't the city have enough employees to remove the signs before the snow blower?
How much money does Ottawa spend on those signs? Why don’t they have a crew remove them before the operation

youd have thought they would have removed the wooden sign posts rather than just chewing them up. More tax dollars wasted.
It'll probably cost more to hire someone to remove those there cheao
